Lovely zippy car
I have had this car for a few weeks now and I love it. It is very driveable in the city, easy to park and great for transporting kids and shopping. The plus is that large shopping can fit into the car with the magic seats folded down to the car floor.

Best car Ive possibly ever owned!
One of the best small cars on the car market. Economical, reliable and has the magic seats - which separates Jazz from other small car. I moved my entire house (except for the sofa and fridge) in the Jazz! Amazing car which is almost bullet proof! A plus! Thoroughly recommended.

almost spectacular
My super reliable Subaru Impreza was 20 years old and with a small inheritance it seemed time to update. After much searching, the Honda Jazz i-VTEC seemed just right and wow!
It's a dream to drive...never driven an automatic. .....so smooth and quiet, generally.
Love that the seat raises, for ease of vision, speaking of which, there seem to be no serious blind spots.
There's so much space and so many seat configurations, making an extremely roomy hatch.
The electronics were baffling at first, but I'm getting there.
Economically it'...Read more
s incredible! Return trip Bendigo/Canberra was $80 give or take a couple. Incredible, my much loved, trusty Impreza cost around $230 ish for the same trip. The only problem has been a screamworthy rattle that is sometimes a whisper and at others extremely loud. The dealer has tried many options, over 6 days, each time trying something different. No luck. They suggest contacting Honda direct, hoping someone there can fix it. Also, on a recent trip, 2 screws fell out of the plastic tray, under the front if the motor. Fixed, no problem, however, seems they have never had either of those problems before. Overall, my lovely Jazz is mechanically sound, a dream to drive and so spacious...well, I'm under 160cm tall, so it's a perfect fit. Adore it....well, once the rattle is dealt with.

Great city car!
Good driving experience, great mileage, and the magic seats are unbelievably useful. I fit a bike in the car without any problem. The cruise control is useful on the highway. The interior is basic, a lot of plastic but a lot of useful nooks for putting stuff. I travel around 600 km a week and spend less than $150 on petrol. I would recommend it as a city car.

Nice family/weekend car
Have always had no problems with Honda Jazz even from previous generations. Steering is smooth sailing, added with cruise control makes it a breeze. Very reliable, never break down unlike VW golf I had previously had 3 engine replacements within 4 years.
Very spacey interior, plenty leg room, and the best thing is rear seats foldable completely flat providing massive room, becomes almost like a van. The boot has alot of room too perfect for family. Fuel efficiency as advertised, and though not turbocharged or anything still gives pretty decent kick when I need it to. Engine is very quiet. Only -ve is I wish it came with a SAT NAV option...

Perfect for small family
Best car I owned, Loving my Honda Jazz. Really economical with the fuel.
Small car with lots of feature like parking sensor, cruise control, bluetooth, usb, outside temperature, touch screen audio system, and many more.
The only drawbacks is the routine servicing with honda sometimes is expensive. They have to do what Toyota is doing which is cap servicing.

Great small car
The performance of the car is great, very smooth and enough power for a small car. It is quite noisy, but it is given because it is a small car. There is actually a lot of leg room for a small car, the dashboard could be a bit more sleek and stylish but I love the reverse camera. However, I did have the battery (the car is only 3 years old) die on me which wasn't great but they replaced it under my warranty. The only explanation I was given, was that 'it happens.' The driver's seat door doesn't close properly too if you do it lightly. However, the car is able to run on fuel very efficiently and overall, it is a solid car.

Excellent value and Honda quality engineering
Purchased for elderly father who wanted a smaller car. I'm a Honda fan so this was my first choice. The budget came down to a new Jazz or a 9 month old Cerato. Honda had a January sale so we got the added bonus of 7 yr warranty plus it's 2018 plated.
Aside from the sale price, the Magic Seats were a big drawcard - ideal for walking frames or wheelchairs if/when required. Rear legroom is better than my Civic.
The interior is basic - fewer distractions/complications/things that can break. Reverse camera is subject to glare - solution is to keep a piece of cardboard at the ready under the dashmat for sunny days.

Not too impressed
I have owned my Honda jazz (gk) since start of 2015.
At first, I was really impressed and happy with the purchase in regards to the versatility, style, and performance.
As the years go by, I started to notice imperfections here and there on the finishing of bumpers not lining up to the body/door ect.
The plastics around the steering/dash area would rattle.
As most people would say, the fuel consumption is poor. Very difficult to keep it under 7.8L/100 in city driving. And highway don't seem to improve much, 7.5L/100. And I'm driving like a ...Read more

versatility on wheels
What a pleasure to drive this little car. Mine is new, and the cheapest of the range. You'd never know - such good value. No wonder there are so many on the road. Handles beautifully, and not too many bells and whistles. Power steering and braking excellent. Feels very sturdy despite its size.
Comfortable seats. Driver seat has a dinky pump-up lever which is great for shorties like me. Interior is a bit like the Tardis - bigger on the inside. Hard to credit how versatile the interior is. A folding wheelchair fits comfortably into the hatchback...Read more

Third Jazz and still thrilled
I purchased a Honda Jazz VTi in December - my third - I found both previous cars delightful to drive and own and was hoping I would be as satisfied with this one. It drives beautifully, has good acceleration, handles well and is very quiet. The dashboard layout is easy to understand and all features function well. The seats are very comfortable and the flexibility of the boot and seat arrangement is amazing. Naturally we call it the Tardis.

Comfortable and versatile car
This is my second Jazz, the first was a Manual 1.3 LT 2010 Jazz limited edition. The second a VTI-S 2014/15 Automatic. I really can not fault either vehicle. In my latest Jazz, I have done 76,600 km mainly on sealed roads throughout Queensland. Great for travelling with suitcases for holiday breaks, moving household goods. I have had many cars in the past ( Peugeot, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai). I am entirely satisfied with what my Jazz's have offered me. Neither missed a beat. Whether you are going on short runs or longer ones, the vehicle is c...Read more
omfortable, the suspension a little brittle over road bumps. My VTI-S has a good sound system and I am fortunate to have had a CD in my car which later models abandoned which I consider a mistake. The car is very economical on petrol. Whenever I have had to get into another small vehicle, I long to get back into my Jazz. I think the car has style and looks a class above the rest in the shopping car park. I am considering getting into my third Jazz next year!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Further notes on fuel consumption
After four months ownership and about 4000 kms, I have found that fuel consumption is about eight litres per hundred kilometres around the city, six out in the country and seven overall. I still enjoy driving this car. It is a very lively performer despite the excellent fuel economy. I have mostly got used to the firm suspension.

perfect for starting families!
It's a tiny car but it doesn't fail to surprise us how much space it has. We have never had space problems (based on our needs) from transporting our dogs, groceries, bringing tons of luggages to the airport, shopping for (not so big) furniture. The ride is also pretty smooth and very economical compared to our previous cars.

Compact, spacious hatch car. Good Value.
I bought the Honda jazz in 2015. It is quite spacious compared with the Yari (Toyota), Rio (Kia) and Polo(Volkswagen). Good performance in highway. It is not noisy when accelerating. You can download Sygc Car navigation system in your mobile phone and connect it through the usb cable to your screen. The cruise control is fantastic.
The interior is spacious enough for baby seats and prams. Good price - value for money.
The air conditioning of the basic model is a little be noise.

Perfect small car.
Great car for driving around Gold Goast area, very economical on fuel. Best feature is the seat flexibility. comfortable seating and plenty of head room for tall people plenty of leg room in back as well. Like the hands free phone and reversing camera. Only criticism is Servicing is recommended every six months which I think is over the top as runs at over $500 per year So i will only get it serviced around the nine months to twelve months as money does not grow on trees.

Great value for money
The car is very responsive so handling is good. The cabin noise is very quiet. The interior space is massive for a small car. It can fit 3 adults in the back seat no problems with ample headroom. Fuel consumption is absolutely amazing. I get around 600km per tank which is great considering the small tank.

My little car!
Jazz 2014 it's a great little car, I have had not one issue with her, great on gas and very easy for me to park at the shopping centre; as the park sizes seem to get smaller. The only down side is how long it takes to get the heater warm so I start her up 5 minutes before I leave on those chilly mornings.
I recommend this zippy little car.

My 2015 Jazz has serious rust bubbles appearing near the bottom of 2 doors. How common is this?

My month old 2018 jazz, has had a terrible whistle between 80kph-100kph it turns out its the drivers wing mirror. its driving me insane! the service department where i purchased it are hopeless. any ideas????? should i push for a new unit to be installed? as the passenger side does not whistle.

That's annoying. I would definately push it as a safety issue if it is distracting you from your driving then it needs to be replaced. Mine certainly doesn't do it. We don't or have never owned a car that has. If the dealer won't I would take it to another. Good luck!

any rust problems in 2015 & up models?

Mine is 2009 model
Hi Bob, I purchased my Honda Jazz in January 2015 (Dec. 2014 model) and in 2016 I noticed the first rust spots under the bonnet. I reported it to the service staff at Hoskins Honda (now Sutton City). They took some photos and promised to contact me. Nothing happened so at the next service I reported it again. By now rust spread to engine bay and the hatch door.
They took more photos and promised to contact me again. Since nothing happened I contacted Honda Australia. They advised me to deal with Sutton city. They took more photos (two years later) and I haven't heard from them since.
When I requested all further communication to be conducted in writing they went dead quiet and even rejected my registered letter which I than posted to Melbourne Honda Australia. No answer, so today I am attending the first session at NCAT.
I have a Jazz first registered December, 2016 and noticed rust under the bonnet and hatch. Nordic have arranged for the car to go to a crash repairer to have it rectified. My worry is that I can only see rust in very obvious places and there may be more I can't see. The front driver side door was also leaking badly. NOT HAPPY.
