My 2nd Honda Jazz. This model has some better features but more bad features.
Purchased Hornsby March 2018. Sold the old model privately as trade in a joke. Sold the older model easy.
This engine is the 1.5 (bigger than my older 1.3) and i note no longer has the dual spark plugs per cylinder so not as peppy. Overall the car runs pretty well but where I'm very disappointed is the accessories.
The reversing camera is crap. Im told the model earlier had a much better camera and i was surprised no reversing alarms.
The radio is crap. Older model wasn't good... but this model is terrible. 'AM' radio sensitivity / reception is...Read more

Disappointed with air conditioning which was never fixed
I bought my Honda Jazz Vti-s in 2015. Since I bought I complained in every single inspection in relation to the air conditioning which does not work properly.
Every time I was told there was no any problem. Now when the warranty is finished I was told that there is some problems and parts need to be replaced which will cost me a lot.
It's so sad as since I bought it I had other issues which was never resolved.

Perfect!
I absolutely love my Honda Jazz! it runs very smooth and is very roomy for a small/medium hatchback, back seats go down also so it can fit a lot in the back! I get my car serviced with Honda every 10,000kms and they are excellent and also give you a loan car for free for the day! I would definitely recommend the beauty of a car and the Honda Jazz 2015 is very nicely shaped. And also pretty good on petrol. And hot mag wheels to match.

Cant see navigation or reverse camera
Purchased the Jazz and everything has been going well. We only have 1 issue.
Ths infotainment system is on such a big angle that catches the slightest sunlight. This makes the navigation and reverse camera useless as you can't see the screen unless its cloudy or night time. This is a massive design issue and one Honda has said they won't fix.

2018 Jazz – perfect small van
This is my first car and although I wanted a second hand one, this turned out to be alright. My favourite thing about the Jazz is the space. It is roomy and perfect for traveling. One of the let-down features (for my dad) was how the VTi-S didn't have a CD player. The aircon takes a bit of work to cool the car when it is Summer so that stinks. I like the driving experience, I'm don't know how to describe too well car terminology but it drives smoothly. The noise is minimal, great legroom, even for a short person like me – the seats cater to. Cheap fuel – fuel efficient!

almost spectacular
My super reliable Subaru Impreza was 20 years old and with a small inheritance it seemed time to update. After much searching, the Honda Jazz i-VTEC seemed just right and wow!
It's a dream to drive...never driven an automatic. .....so smooth and quiet, generally.
Love that the seat raises, for ease of vision, speaking of which, there seem to be no serious blind spots.
There's so much space and so many seat configurations, making an extremely roomy hatch.
The electronics were baffling at first, but I'm getting there.
Economically it'...Read more

Comfortable and versatile car
This is my second Jazz, the first was a Manual 1.3 LT 2010 Jazz limited edition. The second a VTI-S 2014/15 Automatic. I really can not fault either vehicle. In my latest Jazz, I have done 76,600 km mainly on sealed roads throughout Queensland. Great for travelling with suitcases for holiday breaks, moving household goods. I have had many cars in the past ( Peugeot, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Hyundai). I am entirely satisfied with what my Jazz's have offered me. Neither missed a beat. Whether you are going on short runs or longer ones, the vehicle is c...Read more
omfortable, the suspension a little brittle over road bumps. My VTI-S has a good sound system and I am fortunate to have had a CD in my car which later models abandoned which I consider a mistake. The car is very economical on petrol. Whenever I have had to get into another small vehicle, I long to get back into my Jazz. I think the car has style and looks a class above the rest in the shopping car park. I am considering getting into my third Jazz next year!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Our First Honda
We have had our VTi-S since Nov 15 and it has been an outstanding purchase. With a 5.8l/100 km on the highway and 5.9 l/100 km around the Gold Coast streets, it is not an expensive car to run. The radio controls are on the left spoke of the steering wheel, phone answering below them on the hub, the cruise control on the right with the manual changing tabs located on the hub. The dashboard instruments are very easy to read as is the information screen (which displays the rear camera, radio, GPS, phone call details, etc).
The car is very quiet u...Read more

Our Second Honda Jazz Experience
My wife's first Jazz was a new 2012 VTI-s, which has recently been transferred to our daughter. The decision to update to the latest Jazz was taken without even consideration or test drive of the new Jazz.
The major differences we have observed are:-
- for exactly the same price we paid for the 2012 version, there is a lot more gadgets & a slightly more refined larger vehicle
- appears to be slightly more road noise, could be due to new tyres
- definitely more interior space
- I read criticism of the touch screen technology, don't see any ...Read more

meh
No denying the Jazz is cute. It handles fine and has a tight turning circle. It feels very roomy. The fuel efficiency in mho is overrated as I am getting the same mileage as my previous 17yo 2.0L car. The econ mode is dire. The touch screen is not intuitive and is very temperamental taking multiple 'touches' before it decides to function.. The overall finish of the car looks good, however, when you use and clean it regularly you get to realize how cheap and nasty the build really is. Also the a/c is woeful, and the carpet is already showi...Read more
ng signs of wear on the driver's side after only 6 months/4,000kms because it is such poor quality. If I still own this car in 5 years it wont be from choice This was my first Honda and at this point I don't think there will be a 2nd.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not Picking
As previously stated in my reviews, I hate the touch screen in this car as it is so dangerous to try and use it when driving.
Currently the thing that is annoying me is that the rubber door seal on the drivers side is continually coming off the metal and it stops the door closing. Next time it is serviced, I hope to get it glued on as it should have been when it left the factory.

Actually it should have been nit picking

hand door seal to get fixed. I have got used to the touch screen but still prefer my CRV for safety. The local petrol station would go broke if all the locals had a Jazz as I only go there every month. Next time I shall go for keyless entry and rear parking sensors although the camera is excellent. Small tip here for oldies when parking nose first in a shopping centre bay. Always push the orange indicators button when reversing out as it does send a message to the idiots who drive past as you reverse. Don't forget to cancel it again though.Similar opinion? Honda Jazz VTI s service schedule
Why 6 month service intervals or 10,000 klms in Australia what a have when in NZ it's 15,000klms or 12 months same oils, same product, similar climate. This negates the benefit of capped price servicing. Is this a marketing idea or a way to extract extra dollars when a quality product does not require 6 month services with normal driving

ms also the service book is printed for Australia. Actually New Zealand is 15,000 klms or one a year, not much differant to our climate in Australia, it seems England, Thailand all have the same products with different service requirements. Not right when so many manufacturers are now 15,000 or 12 months Honda are not selling the cars they should maybe this is one area that stops people buying them, its not competitive, also the brand is brilliant and something is not gelling here. I still believe its a money making way of making clients who do not understand service that if you do not service your Honda's every 6 months the warranty would be void, could not see how they could do that with a product they claim is high quality. We are now in Thailand and visited the dealership of Honda in. Bangkok, as mentioned before the Honda Jazz we bought is made here and sold with once a year service or 10,000klms
Question then why in ... Read more

Honda Jazz update.
hat brings ut up to 4 1/2 stars. Now it just needs to have the rattle rectified.Forgot to mention that my preference was for a full sized spare wheel. Seems that, of the few cars in my preferred range, only the Honda Jazz could fit it, and it was a freebie! T... Read more
