No replacement handle for broken plastic handle?

published

The plastic handle broke near the trigger pull on both sides, as I was turning the mop to steam clean the floor, this handle failure was/is the weakest part of the system. I need to replace the handle, but see no parts to do so.

Clean floors

published

Perfect for tiles or floor boards. Left the house with a clean feeling after usage.
I can do my whole house with just one tank and it does not leave the floor wet, quick dry. Pads can have a little more wear though

Love It

published

I purchased Steam Scrub after years of an old steamer with just on/off switch. Steam scrub has 2 x tanks ( clean water & solution tank) within 1 unit. The pads stick to the base without any loops. The 'scrubber' is easy to access, just pull the handle up while foot holds edge of base. The bristles are hard. 1 pad was ample to clean whole house. I was unnerved by all the buttons. I used the steam trigger pretty heavily and was really happy with the drying time, as well as how much water was left in the tank( 3x2 tiled except bedrooms). The cord is a really good length. I'm really happy with the purchase.

Purchased in at Godfreys Physical Stores for $199.

Disappointing Steam Mop

published

The steam mop is heavy to use. The water tank has to be removed and emptied after each use. It is difficult to refit into the cavity. Steam flow is not automatic and the lever in the handle has to be depressed each time steam is required.
It is a far inferior product to the Kenwood Steam Mop I owned and loved to use 16 years ago.
The steam mop has to be moved over the same section of floor at least six times in order for the floor to be cleaned satisfactorily.
I bought a box of pads - separate pads are required for tiles and laminated flooring. They don't last very long.
