Save yourself some time and money, go back to warm soapy water and a wet cloth.
I've been wanting a steam gun for a very long time. I like clean surfaces, but don't like the strong smell of chemicals that actually make the job easy.
At my first try I was extremely dissapointed, and immediately put it away. The next day I decided to give it another go, I tried it on everything I could think of: soap scum, a bird cage, a floor stain, a mirror, the window sills, the stove, a new coffee stain on my kitchen bench, the kitchen tiles, the list goes on. I spent the whole day trying to find an excuse to keep it. It worked on nothi...

Disappointed
i bought this for $99 thinking that Id be saving myself time and effort and end up with a gleaming house. Read moreor softening and moving compacted grimy dust build up in crevices. And I think a scrubbing brush would be less effort. Overall i was quite disappinted as i thought it had a good shot of steam, but maybe the ones on the competitors ads are more powerful??There is no indicator to say times up time for a refill, it just goes off. Then you have to wait about 20 mins before you can refill as removing the cap when its boiling is like attempting to remove a radiator cap on a car. it took me hours to complete the job because of the stopping and starting, but then again I needed the break to get over the effort required to use it! Good for removing compacted dust buildup in crevices Doesnt work on much else other than compacted dust and generally clean surfaces. alot of effort.Disapointed too. I bought mine for $99 and the next day it was advertised for $49. Its use is limited. Thumbs down!
Totally agree, I too was disappointed with this product, it made the dirt hot and wet but did not 'blast' it away as the descriptions said. Back to using soapy water and old toothbrush!
I add diluted easy off bam to the solutions compartment so can be used on all surfaces safely and found it quite effective around taps and greasy stove tops. And as for refilling you just have to turn...
