Great value phone

published

The Huawei Y6 is a nice solid phone that you can get under $100. However Huawei Y6 Elite can be had for the same price with more processing power.
The Huawei Ui is very slick but not as fast as the HTC, Iphone UI. The Camera is average but decent in this price range.
The battery life is also very good, you can easily get a full day of use out of it.

Absolute waste of money!

published

The phone is extremely slow to respond on touch screen...brand new phone and so slow. Very little memory space! I can only add 4 apps to the phone without buying extra memory. I have complained to Vodafone and Coles where I bought it and no one wants responsibility for it.

Value for money

published

I've taken this phone with me everywhere and it has stood up to every test. So far, I'm very impressed with the android OS and the ease at which I learned to use it and the sheer durability of the phone. So far this phone has reached my expectations and it works perfectly. I am happy to say that for me this was a good choice and I would gladly purchase again.

Overall solid phone with great value for money

published

I bought this phone for $99 dollars on sale. Phone body and UI is sleek and nice, phone responds fast and overall very good for the price. Camera picks up colour nicely but can't handle high exposure environments. Battery life is incredible, overall excellent phone, only hang up is the camera could be better.

Great phone

published

I bought mine for $99 and got a $50 eftpos card (via redemption) and $40 vodafone credit. Never had any problem with this phone. Has an excellent battery, camera and light/torch. Runs every app I have download. This would have to one of the most feature packed phones in the price range.

Good value for money!

published

I purchased this phone on a prepaid service for $129. The provider included $40 worth of credit which I think is incredible value. The Y6 has all of the functions of a more expensive phone. However the configuration is slightly confusing, and takes some getting used to. Battery has an amazingly long life before needing to be recharged

This is a very good budget phone.

The GPS and Navigation system is very good. The screen resolution is good. The 8 MP Camera is fine. The phone performance is good and the battery last for 24 hours with the power saving option. At the end you get what you paid for.The phone is perfect for a person with limited budget.

November 13th 2017 Update: This is an amazing budget phone!

The phone has a nice camera and great reception!
The battery performance is very good. You can excessively use all features of the phone form GPS navigation to making calls and listening to music and the battery will lest for the whole day.
It has a small memory so you definitely need to buy a an SD memory with it.

Good phone.

This review is for the elite model. Very good for the price. Overheats occasionally when charging for some reason.

I would happily buy this phone again.

I'm with Vodafone so not sure if that is why I get 4G drop outs regularly when indoors.

Good, reliable phone so far that can run one app at a time.

Purchased this phone after using a mini Samsung for the past 4 years which needed charging every day. Although the Huawei Y6 is not top of the range and only cost me $129.00 I am very happy with my purchase and can at least now find it in my handbag!

great phone for a bargain price

published

I bought this phone as I needed one asap after my expensive samsung was stolen, it was $99. I have found it to be easy to use and it does everything the expensive ones do. I am very happy and have not bothered to get one of the big name brands. It handles all the apps and photos with ease, I have no hesitation in recommending this phone.
