All I can say for the new range is great. They are so much better than the previous design. The plates aren't as flat, and they have a lip in them. Much better for preventing food falling off the plate. Improved, brighter colours. Bigger size, better shape. Just better in every way.

Bright, colorful, rainbow set of plates that coordinate with other Kalas tableware. Plates needs a redesign as food too easily gets pushed off plate when attempting to scoop it onto a spoon or pierce it with a fork. A rim or more bowl-like design would make these great plates a whole lot more useful. Two shades of blue are too close in color ... one could be replaced with red or purple. Unbreakable and very useful product that could be made even better with some design alterations.

These plates are absolute gems! We got them on special for 99c 6pack so we thought what the hell if they break it won't matter.. That was 3 years ago and their still going strong! Our boys use them all the time for their outdoor lunch picnics, they stack nicely in the cupboard and we offen take them when traveling because their shape is great for squeezing in an already full esky.

Our kids use these everyday and after multiple uses, microwaving and washing in the dishwashing they are still going strong. The kids love being able to choose their own colour plate each day. They are a great size and perfect for small meals. They do mark if you cut on them with a sharp knife but that is the only downside I can see. We have 3 sets and love them!

Really like these plates. Being different colours childrens can know which is theirs when more than one child is around. I can't give these plates with food on them to my son and he could easily tip it off as they are quite flat. I have to carry the food to the table for him. A bit more of an indent on them and they would be perfect.
Bright colours and fit nicely into the dishwasher and don't take up too much space in the cupboard.

What a great range of plastic cutlery that can be used for children for meals or when out and about. These are hardy plates and can be taken just about anywhere. They are sturdy and come in a range of colours. They also are very affordable, costing only a couple of dollars for a packet of five. I have been using these plates for some time and they still look good. Very easy to clean as well.

these plates are perfect for serving all kids meals, and I find myself using them all the time as well as I know my kids cannot break them. The colours are great, bright and fun. They come in packs of 6, pink, light blue, dark blue, orange, green and yellow. They go nicely with the bowls and cups and can be put in the microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer with out any hassles. I would highly recommend this to anyone with kids who hates that melamine products break! (These don't, they bounce!)

These are fantastic for serving meals to young children. I use them all the time with my toddler. They are the perfect size for little eaters and can be stored easily by stacking them. They clean really well and are great to take away on camping trips or picnics. Very inexpensive feeding product.

Brightly coloured, non-breakable, dishwasher friendly, and very economical, these Ikea kids plates are a fantastic and an essential item for every kitchen which serves food up to littlies.
Nothing - however availability is an issue and I wish that there was more than one Ikea store in Victoria as the current store is difficult to get to.

Love having non breakable childrens plates - teaches them how to eat off a plate but at the same time when there are little accidents and plates get dropped you know they are not going to smash!

if cutting sandwiches they show the cutting marks after a little while - I now try to remember to cut them before putting them onto the plate.
