Bad customer service
Bought my freestanding 90cm Ilve a few years ago; generally happy with it. I was cleaning the tempered glass on teh oven door, which included removing the glass to clean the inside. One of the screws that holds the glass in place broke off. I rang the Ilve spare parts line, and they wanted to charge me $15 for the screw!!
Based on the initial expense of the oven, I would have thought a single screw is something that you get as a 'good will' gesture. Poor service indeed!

Ilve customer service
Bought Ilve freestanding oven when we had our home built. We had an Ilve oven before and were very happy with it. The oven itself works extremely well. The first time I used a pot on the back burner of the cooktop the small stanless steel splashback which is part of the oven burnt. I did not have the gas up extremely high and on the instruction booklet I obtained with the oven it did NOT state that you could not put a large pot on the backburner of the stove. bility with this. I think it is a product fault and all I want is the splashback to be replaced but NOTHING. I an extremely disappointed with the lack of service from Ilve. This replacement wold cost them nothing but it would help with their credibility.2 comments
thank you Ilve for taking note of my complaint. State Manager sent me a new splashback for my stove. Very happy
