I have an Orange account and the answer is no. There will be a limit that is set but you can change this for larger purchases via the app or ring them up.
When I have rung ING this is immediate and is reset by midnight to the set limit you have chosen for that account.

All cards come with 24/7 support. It can be by phone if they can id you. There is a non 1300 number printed on the card and on the web. You can also lock the card on the app and move money out if that occurs. Two cards for a joint account can be a lifesaver. Lock one report it and keep going.

Provided you dont use the card on a website when overseas its fine. You can use it over counter or in a fuel pump.atm etc..you need to enter your AU postcode however.

Thanks - Do you mean you have to put in your aussie post code as a sort of pin at point of sale? What about the SMS as a verification code? Do I have a choice?

You don't need to buy card in any currency. Just use it as a normal cardwitj AUD to withdraw money or pay for goods overseas. ATM fees are refunded, pending you fulfill conditions of card usage. You need to read PDS, like with any financial products

Can anyone please inform me the rules of an orange everyday account is opened but you do not make the 5 card purchases per month? I have a primary card account but also want to create another ‘bill’ account where I can just put everything to be direct debited. Thanks!

Hi, if you do not do the 5 transactions you will not get the free ATM (except the big 4) as well as no foreign conversion fee and ATM overseas. Also they would not pay interests if you have a saving account. Basically if you do not use it you lose it. Very silly and very tempting to move myself as an ING customer. Hope this helps

Mine goes in within hours. If it's done early in the morning I usually get it by night time. If it's my Salary it takes about 3hrs from Westpac. I also work for a bank now (Institutional Banking) and have worked for 2 other Aussie Big Banks and ING is one of the best to deal with.
