What does it mean when it will no longer turn on. Controls show '8' for one second, then nothing. It is the first time it has been used this year after not being required since last winter. This is the second Jason EB to just stop working. Is it is the control or the blanket?

I assume you have one with a digital control. Ours has a manual knob and no screen. No problems with ours so far.

We have a Jason EB, double King. The right side control flashes P. We have tried to push it in as far as it will go, but still flashes. Could it be a faulty cord, or is it the pin it plugs into on the blanket? Not happy! Cost an arm and a leg as well! If the cord, can you get replacements?m

But does it work (heat up). Is it still under warranty either way I would probably contact Jason directly. Never had one before but after some major surgery I had trouble staying warm last winter so we bought a DB and it worked marvellously. Cheap as chips at Big W.

Mine did that. Just out of warranty so had to just throw it out.

Where did you bought it? I believe you can if you bought it in legit dealer or seller. As long as you have receipt, they will provide you with replacement or full refund.

Lots of references to flashing p &
It’s simply the top connection needs to be pushed back in!!

Copied from another site- & it fixed my flashing p issue:: it’s the topside/ blanket connection ... just push that “plug” back in..

((One person said the P deals with the power plug. The power plug supposedly has been pulled and lost connection to the blanket.
Per person, this is their response: Hi, it simply means that the power plug to the actual blanket has been pulled and has lost connection at the blanket.

You simply need to disconnect the plug from the power point, then reach under the bed clothing to the woollen blanket where the connector plug is, and re push the narrow rectangular plug back in firmly. Then, carefully pull bed clothing down without pulling it out again, and simply plug the main plug into the power point. The blanket will operate correctly with the H coming on the screen, yea!))

Our queen size electric blanket (approximately one-year-old) has recently developed a problem. When you turn it on, it starts with the H setting, then it changes to a P (solid at first and then it begins to flash). This is the same for both sides, even though one side of the blanket has never been used. Can anything be done to fix this or is it a problem With the blanket?

Thanks for your question.
If you are referring to our Jason Fully Fitted electric blankets with controller TWK-1/T4E then yes, a voltage converter must be used when in the US. Please check the back of each controller to ensure you have this particular type of controller we refer to.
Should you have any further questions, please contact us via email [email protected]
Thanks
