A great comfort to me.
Following major vascular surgery at the beginning of winter 2022 I really felt the cold at temperatures that were not all that cold. This is the first electric blanket I have owned. I would put it on high for half an hour before bed then turn my side to low when I went to bed. My wife would turn her side off when she went to bed as she felt that loved getting into a warm bed but did not need it on all night. Purchased from Big W locally who always provide great service. Didn't appear to make any difference to electricity bill and will be using again next winter if needed especially to pre warm the bed. So much better than the two hot water bottles we have used for longer than I can remember.

Best first electric blanket
This is my first and current electric blanket and was bought last year in 2018. This blanket fulfills all the promises.
This blanket have three settings.
It doesnt comes with a display, however it has it's own manual settings mode.
One thing that it only misses is a timer function. It could have had a timer function which can automatically cut the power after using it for some duration.

So Warm
In love with this blanket. Makes me feel so warm and I don't feel cold in the morning. Totally recommend for winter or cold days. Its amazing and so cozy.

Warm so quickly
This electric blanket is so good. It works perfectly, and serve it's purpose. Perfect for a very cold weather. It heat up so quickly, so easy to use and dismantle. Material is thick and well sewed, nice finish. I will buy this again for my other queen beds.

Jason Electric Blanket
Granted I had a problem with crunching up but the mattress protector is now on top of the blanket
I leave it on low or turn it off once it is warm
Make sure the sheet is straight and reheat but considering everything I love Jason Electric Blanket

Its acceptable
I have had this blanket for 4 months and find it to be only acceptable, it takes ages to warm up, then turns itself off. it fits the bed perfectly and is snuggly

Dose not fit on bed properly
The control is annoying because when I turn over in bed my elbow hits the plug in section. It also is to loose and moves around under me. Poor design! Now I have to sew loops onto it to secure it in place!

Not happy
I broke my back and neck and was really happy when I got the 1st Jason shear underlay only to be disappointed u would put it on high and after 1 hour it would turn its self down to 1 so I took it back and swapped it for another 1 same Jason and it does the same turns itself from high to l9w within 1 hour so I'm taking second 1 back getting back my money and I will not be getting a Jason 3rd time lucky

Jason Sherpa Electric Blanket White Queen
Just bought the Jason Sherpa Electric Blanket White Queen yesterday, used it and it's perfectly warm. I put it on H and turn it off when I go in bed. I don't feel any coil or lumps which is very nice. I will give it another review in afew months and see if it live up to its standard.

Will not recommend.
My first blanket give you a mild electric shock if you touch the person next to you. You don't notice it until someone touch you then you'll feel a static kind of shock. Contracted Jason they replaced it, no questions asked. Recived my new blanket a week later and after the second used the right side suddenly stopped working, contacted them again and still haven't heard back from them. Will not recommend buying it. Definitely not a good quality blanket to used,

Needs to fit better
I bought a Jason electric blanket yesterday. I got a Queen size for my Queen size bed but the blanket doesn't fit tightly enough on the mattress and moves around and bunches up. I kept having to get up in the middle of the night to fix up the blanket. Not happy at all waste of $49

Does the job
No frills 3 setting electric blanket. Practically no heat with low setting but the medium and high is sufficient. Not sure I like how it’s fitted as blanket still slides around underneath.

Lovely and warm
I have the king size it is good quality and it fits my mattress well. Heats up in a reasonable time and definitely takes the chill out of the bed. Has a controller on each side with the 3 temperature settings.

Very disappointed
I received my Jason Electric blanket - and the next day I had fitted it to my bed to find that the right side of the blanket does not heat up - change the controllers from left to right to check if it was the controllers - they were fine -there must be a fault in the blanket it self - I rang Jasons up and he would not help me because he said I had to deal with Kogan were I did purchase it from - no phone number to contact Kogan on and I had sent them an email - no return reference number - so I do not know if it worked - I am still very disappo...Read more

My concern is customers are pushed around from one end to the other - it is your product and Jason warranty - I get told that it is the Manufactures responsibility to honour the warranty and supply safe and good quality product ?????

You can do better
If you want a toasty warm bed, particularly if you want warm feet, keep looking. The highest setting will warm for maybe 30 minutes and then when it's decided it's had enough turns itself back to the lowest setting, barely better than no heating at all. That snuggly bed you've been looking forward to? Turns out it's about as warm as yesterday's cup of tea.
On the second highest setting, reached after hitting the up arrows six times (not at all annoying) it takes several hours and a significant mountain of blankets to get really warm.

Faulty electric blankets
I bought a Jason Queen fitted electric blanket in June 2018. By July the controller completely stopped working. I bought another in July thinking it was just the 1 blanket that had trouble but yesterday the 2nd one had the same problem. As we are in the middle of moving I’ve been unable to find the receipts. Now I have 2 blankets and I don’t know if the store will replace or give money back without the receipts. Looking for some advice please.

Faulty controller and dreadful after sales service
I purchased my Queen sized Jason Fitted Cosy Sherpa blanket on 11/5/16 from Harris Scarfe in Moruya for $125.82. This came with a 3 year guarantee. Initially this blanket performed well although it has only seen 1 winter's use and was moved from our bed to the spare bed in summer 2016. I bought a cheaper Soren for winter 2017 and that has performed well on our bed. Winter 2018 and one of the Jason controllers failed to work, I took the blanket and proof of purchase on my credit card statement back to the retailer who told me as they don't stock...Read more

Called 3 times for after sales service and was just told they don't have spare parts for that controller and to take it back to Harris Scarfe. So now I have a perfectly good, barely used blanket that I have to throw away as only one side will work. What does it mean when it will no longer turn on. Controls show '8' for one second, then nothing. It is the first time it has been used this year after not being required since last winter. This is the second Jason EB to just stop working. Is it is the control or the blanket?

I assume you have one with a digital control. Ours has a manual knob and no screen. No problems with ours so far.

We have a Jason EB, double King. The right side control flashes P. We have tried to push it in as far as it will go, but still flashes. Could it be a faulty cord, or is it the pin it plugs into on the blanket? Not happy! Cost an arm and a leg as well! If the cord, can you get replacements?m

But does it work (heat up). Is it still under warranty either way I would probably contact Jason directly. Never had one before but after some major surgery I had trouble staying warm last winter so we bought a DB and it worked marvellously. Cheap as chips at Big W.
Mine did that. Just out of warranty so had to just throw it out.
