Faulty
I bought the queen size Jason fitted electric blanket via Kogan and within 3 weeks, I felt a mild electrical current running through my hands when I come in contact with another person. Only happens when the blanket is on. It has a 1 yr warranty and at the moment I'm waiting for Jason to respond.

Tropical!
Who needs reverse cycle air con, when you have a Jason Electric blanket, going to bed at 8.30 seems so wrong, but feels so right, when you snuggle down in your bed, great duel control & timer, so if your hubby is hot and your feeling the chill, you can have half the bed hot and the other cool, fantastic product, could not live without it in the winter months, cosy!

Perfect
I live in a very cold area and work afternoon shifts so it's nice to come home to warm bed when I get home (hubby turns it on before I get home). Doesn't take long to heat up and I usually turn it off 5 or 10 minutes before I go to sleep. It has 3 settings but I normally put it on level 2 as the heat is just right. The blanket itself is fitted and that was one of the reasons I bought it. The other reason was the price $39 for Woolworths. Very happy

Great blanket
Good quality fitted blanket. Controls were a bit hard to work out when I first got it but with a phone call to retailer and a couple of tries learned how to use the controls. Initially it was a problem getting the controller to stay on when you went through the procedure to turn them on. Could be better explained in the user guide,

Heats up well, hate the cord placement
It heats up well and has a good range of settings. We often dont need it higher than a 2.
I don't like the cord placement as I find I end up laying on it and it's quite hard, almost like laying on a rock. Given its on the edge that might seem odd but I have a toddler and so often end up on the edge of the bed or with my arm hanging in that exact spot. To avoid this we have flipped it around so the top is at the bottom instead making the plug/controller half way down the bed. Much more comfortable this way.

Need in winter
It's very useful in autumn and winter. I can't go through this two seasons without this, especially at night. Also, it doesn't waste a lot energy. Buy one in June

get warm quickly
This electric blanket enables me to sleep tight even in extremely cold weather in Melbourne. It gets warm very quickly and it is safe as well. I bought it last year online when a retailer gave a special offer. It is essential item for me if I want to sleep tight at night during freezing cold nights.

Benefits are more, so good to have one
I bought this for the cold weather, but originally i was thinking this blanket is not soo good, what' surprised me is it's stable warm and comfortable feeling, it's my everyday company now, but it's a little bit slippy, i have to pull it up every third day

For short people with really long arms
the blanket does heat up quickly. fairly even heat. BUT approx. the bottom 30cm or so has no heat. It stops at your skins. Feet are freezing!
Then the connector is just below where my pillow sits, so my shoulder is constantly hitting it.
The cord is also very long, the controls sit on the floor. Inconvenient when trying to turn it off when in bed.

Happy with this purchase
I'm overall very happy with this blanket. It fits well, I have a king sized 50cm wall mattress. Would be nice if the low setting was a bit lower in temperature, but no real drama there. The cords that form the heating elements are uncomfortable to lie on, i have chronic pain issues so may not bother most people. I put a thick mattress protector over the electric blanket and this fixed this problem.
It's lovely to have a warm bed!

Does what it is supposed to do
Purchased the single sized one online from Kogan for $25 so the price was good. Being a rather basic product, there isn't much to say other than it performs how it should. The heat control is detachable and the blanket is fully machine washable so this is a plus. I can't comment on how snuggly it fits to the mattress as I don't use it over one, but it looks well made so can't imagine it being too bad. Definitely a good choice to save on winter heating bills.

Toasty warm bed!
Perfect fit and great removable controls for machine washing.
Perfect to warm up the bed before getting in at night. Can also be used on low setting for all night warmth.
Very good value for a reliable, trusted brand.

Jason Fitted King Size Sherpa
Purchased this from Spotlight on sale for $113.00 in June mid year sales. Was somewhat skeptical at first as some of the reviews had said that some electric blankets do not heat up evenly. Well I am pleased to say that this blanket met all our needs and does not have any cold spots. It has 5 heat settings, High, Low & 1,2, & 3. If you set the blanket on high before bed, it will automatically turn down to 1 when it reaches that heat. A bonus in my eyes.
Overall, very pleased with my purchase, and the Sherpa wool blend topping also adds warmth, so now sleep in summer PJ's in mid winter
