I thought it was marvelous when spotlight went online. however recently I'm very disappointed . taking into account of the covid-19 lockdown and maybe having to source my order. I have received no information nor notifications about the long delay other than what was stated when I was buying my products. I find this rude and poor management practise. Thank you

No proof of purchase - No exchange
Be aware of this business. We purchased Savouy bedding which is sold exclusively by Spotlight. Paid cash and could not remember the exact date. Went to exchange and was refused as we did not have proof of purchase. Product is in re-sellable condition. We had also had a quote to supply and install curtains into our new home. Will not be shopping at this retailer ever again. BUYER BEWARE!.

One order - thirteen packages!
Will never be shopping online from Spotlight again! I placed one single order, mostly consisting of various colours of card and ribbon, and it ended up being delivered in THIRTEEN different packages! Such a ridiculous waste of plastic! Some, as shown, were a single small item sent in a giant plastic bag. If it was necessary to send each item from a different location I wish I had been informed by email first as I would have cancelled my order. Favourite store for fabrics and craft!
Spotlight online is fantastic as they offer Afterpay which I use a lot.The stores are also great,there’s so much to choose from,in fabric,sewing machines,craft items,curtains,housewares etc!Ive bought heaps there and the best thing is if you join as a VIP(it’s free!!!)you get huge specials!!!

Don’t ever buy custom made blinds from Spotlight
I now know why I had to pay in full before Spotlight delivers and installs your blinds. They take your money and don’t give a damn about the blinds that are the wrong size, made back to front and are not what the consultant measured and quoted for. I will never used spotlight to measure and quote for window covers, If I had known the blinds would turn out as they did, I would never have accepted their quote. Pay a little more if you have too, but never buy from Spotlight

Convenient Shopping Online
I have ordered online many times, usually apparel fabric cut to order. The orders usually arrive within 2-5 working days. I have only once received the wrong fabric, out of about 30 different fabrics I've ordered. I can't make it into the store with 2 kids under 3 so the $10 shipping is absolutely worth every penny. The website can be quite painful to search at times though. Also, the fabric compositions aren't as detailed as they could be. Instead of saying something is polyester cotton, it should have the percentages of each listed, and the fabric weight (GSM). This is sometimes supplied, but often not.

Made to measure
I don’t know if I was expecting too much? Took advantage of the made to measure free quote service... Booked online.... I was out at the time, They where to send me the appointment day and time unfortunately it didn’t arrive, thankfully email on the day so new which day they where coming but no time.
The staff member called to let me know what time she would be meeting and was great....

Terrible customer service!
I ordered 3 large roller blinds, waited more than a month for them to arrive, then cancelled the order. I cancelled as numerous emails received little or no response, and the tracking number they gave me did not work. Apparently the couriers had no record of my order. Another 3 weeks later and I'm still waiting on a refund, and I can't get a straight answer from Spotlight when I will receive it. I have been told they will still charge me the $20.00 freight costs!

Absolute Joke!!!
Made to measure? Came to measure 2x! And blinds still do not fit. Now no one wants to talk to me.
They took the money and that is it...No customer service at all
it took them 3months to make them, than another 3weeks to book 2 man to install it and by the end came only one. He scratched the walls, blinds do not fit and they are crooked.
Not happy and no one is answering

First set of curtains were lovely. Second order dreadfully made, were too long, white fabric yellowed. Every time I needed to call I had to ring Melbourne and sit on hold for ages. Had them taken up and then they sagged again in the end the tracks were lifted. The installer was brilliant but Spotlight itself dreadful. they were so bad I asked them to be taken up to sill length and was told there would be a charge, yet they didn't charge to take them up an inch. In the end the tracks sagged. A very long wait too which makes me think they were sent to China.

Disappointing and upsetting
I wanted to purchase blinds and had sales person come out to measure and give a quote. At the time I was still unsure because all I was given were swatches of colours And never able to see photos of what they will look like. Then later I asked for the salesperson to return because of question measurements that were taken but also I still was clear because I could visualise them. I paid half the amount of $1250 and when called that the order was ready I tried to make an appointment for them to install however was told I needed to pay full amount...Read more
. I went into the store and spoke to the register lady for curtains informing her of my concerns of paying the full amount when they hadn’t been installed and what if I didn’t like them. She assured me that if I didn’t like them I could get me money back. So I went along with it. In the day of installment they looked good and it was quick. The guy left and I thanked him. When I returned to the bedroom I looked closer and the pellets or now I know cassettes were made of plastic which I wanted material. I was very upset and went Into the store to find out what has happened. I had to make another appointment with the salesperson for another week to come back to the house to sort the problem out. What resulted from his visit was that he could order me pellets for $750. That is would not be refunded from the ones I didn’t ask for but another cost and that I would just have to throw them away. I have been very upset and disappointed especially with the amount of money spent with a total of $2500 not being 100% happy. I am going to speak to the Manager on Tuesday and see if we can sort this out. They tried to sell me that they looked alright but if that’s what I have to accept that “they will do” is not good enough in my understanding. I want what I paid for and I think I deserve to have it when I am paying for it. At the end of the day I do believe that to avoid this error again the salesperson need a better visual guide to what he is selling rather than ask me to google it. I think that’s fair. Don't order custom made blind and curtain
We ordered blinds and curtains as we like the fabrics. After waiting for more than 8 weeks, the a guy came to install the curtain and the sheer not as agreed made it looks silly. The blind installed in-front of one door just blocked the door so we cannot pen the door. the sales person isn't taking or returning calls and customer service are hopeless. Not worth any star really.

good quality curtains and sheers but customer service stinks .
bought curtains etc. on 11th December sales person very good and told 4-6 weeks to make and install .After 6 weeks queried when and told out of stock with no date to supply .Early February still no information whats happening and no-one seeming to take the time to find out .Finally got them on the third of March with installer not given correct phone number to let us know when he was arriving .Curtains look great and installer very helpful but customer service is very poor .Very happy with curtains but not at all with the service hence 3 stars instead of 4 and 1/2

Appalling service
Absolute incompetence, and it’s clear that there is no communication between different departments within the organisation.
They sent my order to a completely wrong address. They then took a week to respond to my email asking them to look into the error. After that, I simply advised them to cancel and refund the order. A couple of days later I received a phone call, where they advised me that the order had been returned to them, and they wanted to verify my address. I repeated my request that a refund be issued, and this was done. A week later, I received a response to my email asking for a refund advising that a refund wasn’t possible! Utter incompetence - avoid ordering online.

Missing delivery poor service
Purchase products online came in separate deliveries never received it all missing the block out curtains but because we signed for 2 of the lesser value deliveries because that's the way it was delivered they will not help with missing items spent over 250 and don't have product and no refund. Worst service.

Don't order custom made blinds/curtains from spotlight
11 Block-out Blinds ordered. Installation a month later after chasing it up. No notification of installation until last minute. One blind didn't fit and another has holes in it. Sales person isn't returning calls or texts. Customer Service (really) aren't answering phone calls. Just an answerphone and I already know they don't return calls. Absolutely disgusting service, especially after having to pay upfront before even sighting product. Basically I've been left high and dry. Next step Office of Fair Trading. Not worth any stars.
Don't waste your time and money on spotlight.

Appalling delivery and customer service
I ordered 3 sets of large window blinds as I do like the quality of Spotlight products. However after several weeks they still had not arrived. The customer service online took so long to respond, and when they did they gave me a tracking number that didn't work. So many enquiries later, with no response from Spotlight I cancelled the order. Now I'm being told my refund will not include the freight charges of $20.00. By all means shop in the store, but avoid the online service!

`Dreadful service
Ordered a made to measure set of curtains in December, nearly$700 and 50% deposit paid. Told they would be fitted in January. Still waiting 2nd March. 4 phone calls and a visit to the store has still not got me my curtains. The girl on the phone said the order was lost in the post, the Manager told me he "would look into it" Stand by Spotlight as I about to visit you again tomorrow. As a VIP Member I am MOST dissatisfied. Was offered a $100 voucher but as I will never shop here again the $100 had better come off the bill.

WORST SERVICE IN HISTORY!
I ordered blinds in November and told they would take 4-6 weeks and would be installed before Christmas. I hadn’t heard anything and called again after 6 weeks to be told they wouldn’t be installed until after Christmas. They were installed late jan but one didn’t fit. Over a month later and many I returned phone calls I now sit in the store giving up my weekend to chase up my order I paid for before Christmas!!! Absolute joke I will never buy another thing from Spotlight their service is beyond appalling. If I could give 0/5 I would.

Cheaper, but take FAR too long
We placed our order in December and were promised it would be ready in a month. It is now a couple of days from March and the street light and sun are still flooding in, with no privacy. How can this business still operate? Yes, might be a few dollars cheaper, but you would want to use the product while you still had breath in your body. Spotlight, lift your game!
