Hello all
I purchases two pair of these JBL wireless headphones ( T450BT) as we have one iPad and two young kids so i assumed that they both could have a pair of headphones each and watch and listen to the one movie.
Both easily Bluetooth and work individually but not both at the same time. Both came up on IPad as same device .
Was i wrong to assume and is there anyway i can get both paired in?

It is technically not possible with any device to pair two other devices at the same time.
The only solution for supporting two separate sets of headphones is using wired headphone and attach them to the device with a signal splitter.
Bluetooth is always a 1:1 relation between devices. Exceptions might be some sets of Bluetooth Speakers which have an additional pairing feature to connect two speakers with each other to act as a "pair".
I've never tried on an iPad but I've used a multi-output bluetooth device on my mac pro to use 2 different wireless headphones at the same time, so I guess it might be possible to do the same on an iPad.

My son has an iPhone when you gets a call a box comes up down the bottom of the screen it has iPhone, iPad, JBL he just presses JBL and that how he uses the headphones to talk on the phone. If your husband doesn’t have an iPhone perhaps google how to use them with his particular brand of phone

Tilt the ear piece with the controls away from its attachment to the headset and it will appear on top, at opposite end from where you can see the charging light

Hi, at least on my phone, when the device is conected to the phone, I can go to the bluetooth settings and I can see under the name of this device the battery percentage.

I bought jbl t450bt and successfully paired with android smartphone. The problem is that it won't pair with any other device. I tried samsung bravia smart tv and lenovo laptop.

Not really having any dramas with mine. Although you may have to turn off your connection from your phone & then try to connect to another device & see if that works. Hope that helps
