I have been riding my 2001 carburetted model for a year now. It has incredible turbine like build up and rock solid handling. I had to get off every hour due to the seat but will buy an air hawk cushion and get softer grips. It was only on 3750 rpm at 110kmh.Its has great roll on torque for overtaking, but is also an easy around town bike once you get used to the sensitive throttle. Its being serviced soon and the BMC air filters are $200 which is a lot. These bikes are a bargain price 2nd hand, especially considering the performance. I love my ZX12R with its blue flame paint job.
