The toaster was perfect untill it would not stay down. The warranty was gone so I've decided to check what was the problem. When i opened it, the trouble was easy to find ; a little piece of plastic made gets hot when it gets hot and it wont stay down. I thought a toaster at this price would be better made. Its VERY cheap made inside. Why would a 70' toaster last 20 years and now we pay a fortune and it barely can last the warranty limit.

This model toaster burns toast every time ! If it is not watched constantly then toast will catch fire . Smoke alarms have gone off and it’s time to throw this piece of dangerous rubbish in the bin before something terrible happens . it doesn’t seem to matter what heat selection is used the problem still exists!
