Great for potato chips.

published

I bought this specifically for chips but it will fry a variety of foods. At first when the chips had to be "turned" I had trouble turning the fryer on & off but this was not necessary - simply remove the pan (easy), shake it all around then reinsert. It automatically resumes frying from when it was taken out. The automatic settings take the guess work out of calculating. I'm very impressed with my new fryer which is the cheapest on the market($49). It's also non-stick.
