Simple Cheap and Useful
Winter was so cold i had to have a good blanket, however a far cry with regards to the proper electric blankets, can be used with another woolen comforter to retain the heat produced however great if its just lying and tossing in bed especially during the nights of spring where its not that cold at night now.

Happy with the product
I have now owned the KMart electric throw for a couple of years, and it does what it is meant to do, it heats up quickly, is comfortable, and reduces the temperature gradually. I am happy with it, and have never had a problem.

Cheap and Toasty for winter
This throw is in no way a replacement for a proper electric blanket you put under your sheets but i have found its perfect for lazing on the couch or whilst at the computer. I havent had any problems with overheating and from memory it switches off if you leave it on? A it of an ugly colour but good for chilly nights

Very useful
I purchased 2. One for myself & one for my mum in New Zealand. Ive used mine a couple times & no issues. But my mum loves it during cold winters in New Zealand.

safety
Has a safety switch that turns it off on the highest setting after about an hour.
As the older posters mentioned above though, most of these blankets have limited heat settings and safety switches now. I love a hot blanket but the heat just doesn't get there.
I previously bought a few cheapies off ebay but found they'd consistently crap themselves if you accidentally sat on and overheated the controller. Not worth the hassle of having to figure out how to get it fixed so I bought a brand name one instead.

Good for keeping warm on the couch
It heats up nice and evenly to keep you toasty warm on the couch. I find it a bit too awkward to have on the bed with me though. It is a nice little design that will fit in in most lounge rooms.

Great to begin with
Worked perfectly for quite a while then began to notice that part of the heating element began to malfunction basically resulting in only the outer edge of the blanket would actually heat.

Winter Staple Everyone Needs One
This throw was an absolute god send when our ducted heating busted this winter - I used it cuddled on the couch watching TV then took it to bed and my partner and I both shared it - the timer and heat settings are fantastic so I could have a nap or sleep K-Martover night without worrying about it

Small cost but keep me warm
With a small cost, this heated throw never fail to keep me warm & cosy in the bed. The fabric is comfortable that keep me sleep soundly through-out the night without need to wake up middle of the night to switch on the heater. It also keep my electricity bill lower because I do not need to use the heater so often.

Great Winter Blanket
This heated throw is great for the winter as it heats up fast and has adjustable temperature and timer. The quality is outstanding and cord is decently long. I use this at night and becomes very warm quite quickly. I will recommend it to any who would like to purchase it.

What is the cost of the shown electric throw & are they available in South Australia?

I paid $39 for mine. Go to the Kmart website and choose your location and it will say if there's any in stock.

Who makes them so I can contact them directly for care instructions which no one seems to know the best way to clean them.
Thanks

Mine says not washable and spot cleaning only and air dry. During drying the cord must be positioned to ensure the water does not flow into the switch or control.
