I have a bad back but it made my bad back worse was hoping it would make it better, a bit to firm for me not enough lumber support, or give . I am going to try adding a mattress topper.

I have been having trouble sleeping but since purchasing my queen Koala mattress I have been sleeping well, it's great and waking up refreshed. I have recommended it to my friends.

Very happy with the new mattress. Waking up without a sore back is great. The feel is firm but not like a plank!
So far no distortion to the shape and no sagging.

We are both in our 70's with bad backs before purchasing a koala. No more do we suffer. We are also enjoying a better nights sleep. Wish we had brought it years before

I have had this mattress (and the pillow) for about 30 days now, it is fantastic! I haven't had a mattress like this one before, and for the price also! Thank you! Works well!!

LONG TERM REVIEW
After 1 year of owning the koala mattress it's held up well except for one aspect; it has sagged a full 5 cm in the middle. Customer service has been brilliant and swapped out the mattress for a new one the very next day! However, I'm afraid the issue will present itself again in a year. This is why I am now looking for a different mattress (perhaps Sleeping Duck?) and put the koala in the guest bedroom. In addition, i woke up with shoulder pains most nights. The mattress is defintely on the firmer side.

This mattress is extremely comfortable and supportive. Even from the first night I was sleeping well! The Koala mattress has relieved a lot of neck pain and allowed me to get a deeper, longer sleep.
I have only had the Koala mattress a week but loving it so far and customer service was exceptional!

We had a sealy mattress for a couple of years and I found it never supported me properly. We decided to give Koala a go because it is Australian made (although the koala toy is made in China which I wasn’t happy about) and because of the trial available. After a month all is well, I feel the mattress does support you well but is also comfortable.
I am returning my pillow as it feels too high for me (even on the soft side) but that is personal preference I guess (side sleeper).
So far I would recommend a Koala mattress.

Previous to my Koala mattress, I was waking up feeling aching in my back and hips - now I wake up with no pain at all. This mattress is so comfortable.

We now have better sleep, and wake up much less than before. The bed gives excellent support. Less tossing around means the bed is easier to make because we don’t drag the bedclothes around.

The mattress is amazing, at first my back hurt but after 2 or so weeks I got used to the mattress now it’s super comfy, I had an issue with lint balls on the cover but Koala happily replaced the mattress cover and I haven’t had any issues since, there is still a slight chemical smell that I will try air out. I’ve had it for a year and would give it 4/5 stars.

Negatives...a little soft on edges for sitting can feel a little warm on a hot night.
Positives....very supportive and comfortable.Great nights sleep.Affordable and with the return policy why not try it nothing to lose.

From the time I ordered this mattress, Koala kept me informed on its delivery (including a call from the delivery driver when he was on his way). It arrived with a special surprise cuddly soft toy Koala in the box and was super simple to unwrap and place on the bedframe. The mattress itself is exactly as described and viewed online - thank you Koala.

The mattress is very comfortable and also super light which made it easy to put together compared to normal mattresses. I am so happy with my purchase and looking forward to buying more in the further from koala!

The mattress is firm, yet it seems around to mould around my body.
Am sleeping better than I have in a long while and I am very comfortable in it.
Would highly recommend it.

I've had my Koala Mattress for over 6 months now, it has been really comfortable and what is really important is that when I move around at night I don't disrupt my husband as much.
