Is Kogan ever going to fix their Customer Service problems? I planned to but one of their 4K TV's recently, but have decided against it due to the total fear of a possible issue with it, and never actually being able to get anything done. The CS people you do talk to are well trained in Empathy, but have no back up to get things done.

how to select USB by using remort controller?

Sorry but I don't have the TV anymore due to the appalling quality so I can't answer this question with this specific model.
With my older model it's either though the input media option. However I have used my Kogan DVD player's USB playback in the past which is a slightly different setup
Ross x.Kogan
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
You can navigate to the USB function by pressing the 'Input' button at the top right-hand side of your remote control. From there, scroll down to USB where you will be able to browse through the files on the drive accordingly.

I need to buy a new TV but reading all the conflicting comments about the Kogan I have become so confused. Can anyone tell me which 40" TV, which is not too expensive, and mainly for viewing, no video games, etc. would be the best? Thanks.

Go to a register like Good Guys, JB or Harvey Norman, look at what they have on display, and make a decision based on that. The Kogan tv has awful sound and awful vision, terrible for watching anything.

Hi LaurineK,

We have one 40" unit listed on the website at the moment which you can find at the link below:

How is the sound?
3 answers
Like listening to an old Nokia telephone play an MP3 on loudspeaker through a tin can.
Would be better to invest in a simple sound bar
Ross x.Kogan
Hi Shawn,
Thanks for the question!
We're confident that you'd be extremely happy with the sound from the in-built speakers, however, if you require something with a bit more power, we have a few options such as sound bars and sound bases as well as full home theatre systems.
You can find our home theatre audio range here:

Jasonasked
How do I get audio out to an old home theatre sound system which only has red and white (left and right points)?
The left and right audio points on the tv appear only to be audio in.
1 answer
Ross x.Kogan
Hi Jason,
This model only has digital audio output, so in order to connect to older RCA (red, white, and blue) plugs you would need to purchase a SPDIF - RCA converter. Retailers such as Jaycar would be able to assist you with these adapters.
