Making Life easy again
After renting several e-bikes in Germany during my Summer Holiday, I decidet to make my life here a bit easyer too. The Hills in our Town where getting a bit too steep for my 75 year old Legs. Now I can go anywhere again.
Took only an hour to assemble. So great Bike and great Service.

Absolutely Thrilled And Satisfied
After months of deliberation and finally getting the opportunity to ride a friends Leitner step through I finally brought one a couple of weeks ago. Should have done it ages ago. Quick delivery, easy to assemble and good direct contact with Ephraem, no middle men involved and it even came with a tool kit. Only negative was the screwdriver was a blade type instead of a phillipshead.
Thanks Ephraem.

Excellent product and really good after purchase service
I bought the Leitner step through electric bike to commute to work everyday about 7 months ago and I couldn't be happier. It gets me to work up hills and into the wind pretty easily and back the 10 km with no problems. The service has been very good and I did have a small issue which was politely taken care of with no hassle. I love this bike and the Leitner company. Best little investment this year. Now for the nitty gritty. I ride 20 km round trip to work mostly uphill one way. I seem to have headwinds in the morning and at night. I power th...Read more
rough both without much of a sweat. I generally keep the power on high at all times and shift the gears up and down depending on the grade of the hill. I can go up pretty steep hills but you do have to work a little bit. The bike is heavy and with my weight 92kg and a backpack full of books lunch and clothing changes this bike gets a workout. I can generally make 2 round trips but start to run out of charge in the last kilometre or so of the second trip. It sort of sputters out and gives you the last kilometre which is no problem on flat but id be in trouble if that last kilometre were uphill. I generally charge it every night but no stress if I forget every once in awhile. The bike does exactly what I bought it for and was a fantastic purchase. I even got a child seat for it to take my son for the occasional bush rides on the weekend. Thank you Leitner Bikes.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love my cruiser
Fantastic service and brilliant bike. Cruises over any hill with ease. I'm so impressed with my bike and the price is amazing considering I was looking at bikes three times the price and they didn't perform half as well. I can't recommend these bikes highly enough. I bought the 26 inch with the 16ah battery and the struts on the front make it a nice smooth ride. The instructions were super easy to put the bike together and if you are finding it tricky you can follow the step by step picture instructions. Great bike, service, communication and price. If you want an ebike, get a Leitner.

One of the greatest purchases I have ever made!
I am so pleased I purchased my Leitner Venice Cruiser! After injuring my tendon & confined to crutches for the past 5 months I was going crazy not being able to exercise. Unable to walk & largely confined to staying home I started to look for an alternative. I stumbled upon Leitners website & ordered my first e bike. My bike arrived within 48 hrs and was easy to put together. From the moment I ordered I received exemplary customer service.
I took my bike for my first ride yesterday, easily riding 10km to the beach without ANY pain. It was s...Read more
uch a relief to be able to exercise again. The motor was surprisingly powerful when it needed to be and the controls were easy to use. I have ridden bikes all my life and as such needed to adjust to the additional weight of the bike when cornering and braking. I mostly rode in low and medium range only using high for going uphill. This was easily the most fun I have had in ages! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a Leitner Bike to ANYONE that is injured or unfit and wanting to continue exercising. I have a feeling this wont be my only purchase from Leitner bikes! My Venice Cruiser is not only fun but an investment in my health & mental well-being! After being stuck in a medical boot & crutches & housebound I am ecstatic with how easily I can now exercise and enjoy being outdoors again. I cannot thank you enough Ephraem :)Similar opinion? Perfect Bike ...
I bought the Electric Bike Step Through 26inch Venice Cruiser and can I just say, the quality is 100%.
I rode the bike and loved it, the speed on high was priceless in that I sampled a section of the track with my legs in the air and the bike kept going and it felt like a small motorbike..
I cannot recommend it any highly enough, I urge all that are pondering an electric bike that Leitner is the best in the market and I plan to ride more and more

Great sturdy bike.
I bought a 26" step through bike online and within 2 days had it delivered to my address in country Victoria unscathed. Excellent service by Leitner and the transport company that was used.
The bike took me a little longer to put together than I expected, but that was probably my fault as I've never been any good at following directions.
I am a 62yo 95kg man and whilst I have to do more pedalling than I expected to get up the steep hills in my area, overall I am very happy with how the bike performs, particularly on the flat and slight declines.
I have no problem recommending this bike to anyone who wants to buy one.

Leitner Electric Bikes
Purchased this Leitner electric bike for a 68yo guy who was confined to a motorised scooter, he hated this because he had rode a bike all his life but due to a knee replacement could no longer pedal long enough. Along came Efram from Leitner e bikes. Ordered the step through bike on Monday, was delivered Wednesday the rest is history. TOP Bike TOP Service Many Thanks Les.

Double the quality and half the price of other electric bikes!
This is a very good quality "street legal" pedal assist electric bicycle with about a 50km range with little to no pedaling, and probably much more with some muscle power added in, with a legal top speed of 25km/h
After an exhaustive search online and on foot for electric bicycles, my girlfriend purchased the Leitner 26" Electric Bike two weeks ago, and hasn't had one regret! We chose the Leitner for all the reasons we didn't chose the other ones - the level of standard equipment you get for the price. Every other electric bike for sale arou...Read more
nd Melbourne came with a price tag of over $2000, and their quality and equipment levels (quality of the brakes, gears, etc.) were all well under the Leitner's until you start paying around $3000. I've ridden bikes all my life, for pleasure and competition. I know what's what on a bike and I'm very familiar with all the mechanics. I would highly recommend these bikes to anyone who wants something to make their commute to/from work, shops, friends places or wherever easier, or anyone loves to go out cycling for pleasure and would like a bike that can flatten out all the hills for them. :) For $950 the Leitner gives you disc brakes front and rear, decent Shimano rapid fire gears, good suspension forks, 3 piece alloy cranks (pedal arms), mud guards, chain guard, good quality panier rack, all on an alloy frame that is properly designed to house the battery and controller out of the way. The controls for the electrics are well thought out and very easy to use. You have a throttle that can get you moving from a complete stop. From there the pedal assist takes over as you start pedaling. The controller panel on the handlebars sits beside the left brake lever so you can easily control it with your thumb without letting go. it has three assist settings, or you can switch the assist, a battery level indicator and a switch for the headlight and tail light for night time riding. The battery is very neatly tucked in between the seat's down-tube and rear wheel, completely out of the way. It locks into place with a key lock that also acts like an ignition key, switching the electrics on or off completely, so you can park the bike, switch the electrics of, but the battery can remain locked into place. We went to pick the bike up. The owner of the business did an excellent job of assembling and adjusting brakes, gears, seat & handlebars - everything needed for my girlfriend to take it away and start riding without any problems. He was very professional, very well organised. He has made sure these bikes are well spec'd and are exactly as they are advertised.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Winston Holmesasked
Good Evening. I am about to purchase an electric bike after searching the internet for all the varied options and makes. My budget is $1500 max (including freight).
I live in Bunbury WA and I note freight varies quite considerably between Companies from "free" to over two hundred + $'s (not sure why the difference).
Anyway I tried to get your calculation but wasn't happy to proceed nearly all the way thru the order process just to get a figure. I would appreciate it therefore if you could send details.
I am considering a 26 inch step thru or the larger "ultimate" or similar.
I'm not finding it easy buying on line and worry should i have some problems with whatever bike I buy along the way - do you have a repair agent somewhere in WA?
I guess its fair to say I am leaning towards one of your bikes (like the recent award you won) but I am also looking at a "Hamburg" trecking; "Hasa Swift"; and the Bullshark Road Electric Bike. They all have their selling points such as pricing, large discounts, free freight or low freight and so on.
Any thing you could add to help me feel confident that your bikes are the best buy would be appreciated.
By the way I am a fit 77yo who enjoys a ride but finds that strong winds and hills are becoming more of a deterrent!!
Thanking you in anticipation. Kind regards. Winston Holmes (0466971252)

Hi Winston,
Thanks for your message. All freight costs goes directly to the freight companies. It is calculated using the size and weight of the carton and your location. All freight is transported via road not air, hence the high cost. Lithium Ion batteries cannot be shipped via air unfortunately. You can simply give our customer service team a call on 1300 856 725 or send us an email at [email protected] to see if we can search around and find a cheaper courier option for you. For example, shipping a cruiser bike to Bunbury WA 6230 is around $205 via a different courier than our default courier. Hope this helps. Please contact our customer service team to discuss further. We look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Leitner team
Good morning - Thanks for the above and Alex's phone call that I missed.
After reviewing the different options for a mid priced e-bike I have narrowed it down between a Leitner or one from another Company. That Company has come up with a great price by dropping the freight component.
I understand your approach to the freight charges and therefore request your very "best" total cost on :
26 inch Berlin "step-thru" or 26 inch Berlin "step over"
Originally I was interested in the "Ultimate" but note it is out of stock. If that situation is likely to change in the near future I'd appreciate your "best" price for an "Ultimate" .
I wonder if there is a place in WA where I could get service work done if necessary.
Thanking you in anticipation. If necessary I could be contacted on 0466971252.
Kind regards. Winston Holmes

what is the warranty on your e bikes?
1 answer
Leitner E.Leitner
Hi Louise,
We provide a 1-year warranty on the electrical components of the bike (e.g. Battery, Motor, Controller etc.).
Then we provide a 2-year warranty on the frame itself.
Please note, warranty only covers manufacturing defects or faults and does not cover water/liquid damage, accidental damage or misuse.
I hope that this helps and please reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks!
