WTG7532WH (7.5kg)

Have just purchased a 7.5 kilo Top Load LG washing machine that makes a loud vibrating sound when pumping out water. This is the second machine in a week that makes this sound as the first machine was a demo model off the floor as no other machines in stock, went back to Domayne complaining about noise and lo and behold Domayne did have a brand new machine in stock. This machine is noisy when pumping out water.Does anyone else have the same problem ? Rang LG service in Newcastle but they do not have any experience with these latest machines and would charge me $132 callout fee. Next stop is back to Domayne then Dept. Fair Trading.

Yes their customer service is very poor. I have been told the same thing if they come and check to see why my machine is crushing everything so bad, I will have to pay a call out fee too. I put my machine on timer at night, so I don't actually hear the machine run, but I think if it was that noisy, I would hear it. Sorry I cant help, but I would assume this is not normal. No one seems to be able to help much in any stores about this model either as they say it is too "new".

Thank-you for your reply.Sent machine back to store of purchase and awaiting delivery of a Fisher & Paykel 7kg Top Load.Previous machine was a Fisher & Paykel 7.5kg Top Load which needed a new pump while under extended warranty, gave good service for 14yrs and only recently depositing a brown liquid into the drum. This brown liquid will not wash out of the clothes that was soiled so was from more than a brown water supply, also water was leaking out from under the machine-leak could have been from a faulty seal that only needed replacing but thought it was time for the machine to be replaced.PS Store has covered all delivery costs and had no problem returning the old machine and buying the new machine.
