I was approved car finance with this company over a week ago, there’s been very little contact with them but they like to charge a lot in admin fees. There’s hidden fees they like to add and overall they seem very dodgy and untrustworthy. Every time a finalised contract has been signed by both parties, they wait over 48hrs to contact me just for me to end up having to sign another contract with more hidden fees. It’s getting ridiculous now and I am absolutely disgusted by the customer service this company offers.

I can't recommend Liberty enough to anyone who feels they are underserved by the banks.
While their interest rates aren't always the best, they are easy to get in touch with, and treat every call or email individually, which makes paying 0.15 - 0.20% above the banks so worth it.

I feel that any question I have is really considered, and when we aren't able to get a rate reduction, we are treated with courtesy and respect, and an insightful explanation is given.

Generally they will take a look at your home loan every 12 months and if they are advertising a better rate, you will be reduced down to match, or get close. Much better than my last bank who would say "NO"everytime until 2 days before we refinanced. Too little too late, NAB.

Our adviser Veasna Chim was fantastic he is friendly, helpful and honest, he's done his best to help us to achieve our goal, he always reply to our messages very quickly. Home loan is lengthy process but Veasna made it easy and straightforward for us. Veasna has many years experience in this field and he'll do his best to help you achieve your goal.

I found the customer service to be fantastic, I dealt with Salim Wahed and he was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, answered every phone call straight away and answered all of my questions. Very happy with outcome!

We received funds today . Staff were helpful and so was Christian in particular . We found the proof of ID business quite a process but we got there in the end.

I recently dealt with Christian at Liberty to arrange a refinance. Christian was incredibly helpful and professional. He was very organised and responsive to all my queries and I am absolutely delighted with his service. It is very rare to come across a person so dedicated and committed to providing excellent service.

These guys recently featured on ACA for a reason, dodgy practices, hidden fees, expect to wait hours on hold, not be emailed settlement letters & YOU will have to chase them, there staff are hopeless.
This was a bad experience all around.

Stay away from this finance company. They have ridicoulous fees to start a loan and end one.

Paying out a loan should make you feel happy. Instead they hit you with fee's they can hardly explain (over $1000), which they all sound the same. Beyond a joke. Plenty of other lenders out there with less fees and better rates. Which was my mistake. They are just a theiving company.

Good experience with Marko​ Milutinovic from Liberty. Very well spoken, polite and professional. Marko was always patient in helping guide my understanding of the loan process and would make little extra efforts when needed.

Our experience has been excellent, we have been kept in the loop throughout the whole experience with great communication. The application process was very simple and quick. Highly recommend Liberty.

A SMSF loan to purchase property is quite a process, but Salim at Liberty guided me through the process. He made a difficult process very achievable, with great communication and knowledge of the service he was providing. I would highly recommend Liberty and in particularly Salim.

Andrew Tinkler went above and beyond to ensure that the finance options for my mortgage were tailored to my requirements, with the lowest interest rates and management fees. He kept me informed throughout the application and approval process and reminded me when paperwork and/or information submissions were due. If I was unsure about anything, he answered my questions in depth and in detail. I recommend Andrew to anyone who is looking for someone who is reliable, professional, personable and knowledgeable as their mortgage broker.

Unbelievable, request an email confirmation that Liberty changed my direct debit payments. To be told Hopefully you will be contacted in 1-2 days why am l paying administration cost. Understaffed or incompetent?

The hidden fees and massive hikes in what you thought was the total amount oweing will change rapidly. They charge you $10 for every time you ask for information about your loan. I got a car loan at 19% which total cost was meant to be $108000 now it’s at $148000 how they added $40000 from baffles me.

Jessica Schulz has been assisting us with getting things back on track. Her compassionate and initiative taking approach is hard to find these days. Her work is an asset to Liberty and i hope more customers have the pleasure to interact with her.

Jeff Westbrook helped us get a home loan 2 years ago, so it was a no brainer to use Jeff when we went for a loan for an investment property. Jeff made the process easy and with less stress. He was a pleasure to deal with and was always informing us throughout the whole process. Through Jeff and his experience we were successful in getting the loan and we will use Jeff again when we go for our next investment property.
His customer service and communication was exceptional and we thankyou for your service.

Salim was great to deal with. He was always prompt getting back to us and made the whole transaction seamless and stress free on his end. Will definitely be dealing with Salim again in the future.

I have been conversing with Christian Kairouz at liberty and found he was very helpful to me called me back very promptly when i needed to ask questions etc Christian was easy to talk to and i would highly recommend Christian from liberty.

I contacted Liberty Financial to refinance an investment property over to them. Salim was my contact and was always available to answer my questions. Salim had the knowledge and expertise I was needing.
Nothing was ever too much for Salim and he always made me feel comfortable to discuss all matters.

Unable to resolve customer service insurance of property value through initial calls (both these were taken by polite and well meaning individuals - thank you [Name Removed] and one other)
Call elevated to [Name Removed] - who was also unable to resolve or offer a solution (1 hr)
Continual harassment for insurance policy (which I have provided) and text for something that needs to be resolved (unauthorised removal of funds from account for insurance policy I have)

Working in hospitality during coronavirus and trying to get a home loan none of the banks would even consider it i was suggested by a friend to try liberty Salim was an absolute pleasure to deal with not only did he get us a home loan he was always updating me by either phone or email the whole this was a smooth I will definitely be suggesting liberty 10/10 service

The after service was good, i was able to talk to a customer service who work with me to finalise my loan in good term.
The early finish of my loan fee was a bit more then expected but was sorted after all

Unhelpful, slow responses uncompassionate. Very disappointed. My wife and I have needed assistance during this time due to having a holiday rental business, the bank has acted as if we are not telling the truth asking for excessive paper work. I cannot wait for borders to open and things get back to normal we will be leaving this bank ASAP. We are with other Banks and they have been fantastic. This Bank should definitely be a last resort!!
