why did you stop supplying the six pack 250ml Liddells long life milk packs at Coles?. They were a good size for the kids lunch box's. We really miss them as both kids are Lactose intolerant. Also a 500ml carton of long life would be great, the kids can take them to school and I can take milk to work every day, I find the 1 litre too big and the 250ml too small.
Thanks for your time

hi connie
the old blue top was definitely easier to open and pour. it amazes me that liddells do not read these comments and if they do, not bother to answer or address the problems described.

We have been drinking lactose free milk for about 3 months with no trouble - can't really taste any difference, but. Last week we had 2 containers, both with the same use by date (Sept 2014) It looked and smelled fine, poured into the coffee fine, but within seconds the milk curdled. Any idea why? One pack had been open a couple of days when we noticed this, the other reacted this way as soon as opened.

I have had the same problem and its annoying. I thought it may have been the coffee as I have been using this milk for a long time. It is definitely the milk. First time I have come across this problem. If you let the coffee cool a bit before adding milk, its better.
It is the acid content of the coffee that is reacting with the milk, a lot of Baristas have a problem with using soy and lactose free milks, if you are heating the milk do not heat it past 55celcius, otherwise let the coffee cool a bit before pouring.
Only ever happened with those 2 cartons. Using for the last 11 months with no problem, no change to the way we use it. One of lifes' little mysteries.

Hi my baby is 13 months old and has had karicare Delact milk formula since 3 months old and am wondering if liddells lactose free full cream mild is suitable for her now?

Forgive me, but I am not qualified to comment on something like that. My post about Liddels Lactose Free Full Cream milk was purely as a consumer who is lactose intolerant. In going to the Liddels product some 12 years ago I found an answer to what was otherwise a most unbearable discomfort after having cereal or a milkshake, etc. I can safely recommend it to those who suffer from the same thing. As time has moved on I have now changed to the skim milk product for dietary purposes, which I find delightful once you get used to it. I'm currently trying to find out the nutritional difference (apart from what it says on the pkt) there is between the 'skim' and the 'low-fat' products, for prima facie there doesn't appear to be much, but then why produce two products that appear almost equal in that respect.
Hi mia. I believe u can ask GP for that. My GP was actually who suggest me to drink lactose free milk. Im not sure if its suitable for baby but for safety olease ask the right people to it.
I agree with the previous answers. You should definitely get some advice from a health professional, at the very least your maternal health care nurse.

how do you whip lactose free cream
3 answers
You can't Ken. It doesn't whip.
I agree, it just doesn't whip regardless as to how long you beat it. Furthermore, it it has absolutely no "thickened" consistency about it whatsoever and is just like pouring milk on something. Very poor product unless you just want it for coffee. Liddel should address the shortcomings of this product.
Liddells Lite Cream.....as I am only Lactose intolerant and not Gluten Free I can use Cottees Instant Pudding mix with my Liddells Lite Cream to whip....it is fantastic must watch it carefully as it will whip fast!! only put in half a packet of instant pudding or even less, our friends and family love it better from Lynne Mann....
