I've been using LivingSocial for a few years now and the few times where I've had issues redeeming my deals the customer service team has always offered a quick response and solution to my problem.

Terrible Terrible customer service

I bought Waterproof Padded Jacket | Men in March. Money has been taken out of my account. I have not seen the jacket till now.

I have emailed them at least 4 times, no response. I have emailed via Paypal, still no response.

What excellent value this is. We have been to Lava a few times now and love it. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the menu is absolutely extensive, the food is so well presented and everything tasted very delicious. We will definitely recommend this place (have already done so) and will go back again (and again). Thank you Lava people! :)

I made a purchase that required redemption on line directly with the provider and I could not do this as there was a fault with the website.
Contacted Living Social who checked it out and promised to get back to me in two days, which they did with the answer and I was then able to personalize my purchase.

The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful.

I purchased a voucher for a degustation dinner, but have been quite unwell, and didn't realise that the expiry date passed. I contacted living social expecting to basically be told "too bad", but I ended up being reimbursed. Something I really liked was that the correspondence was with the same person, which is a lot better than many companies where you end up having to re-explain the situation to several different employees. This made it a lot easier.

I purchased a massage voucher for Parich Spa Sydney and have been trying to book in for massage using he redemption method and phone number, however they never answer the phone, I left voice mails and text them, with long delays they always reply all booked out no matter what date I ask for. I wrote to Living Social asking them for a refund as I can't use my voucher, there was no phone number that I can call living Social so I could only write them and wait for reply, but they replied telling me to deal with the supplier myself. Once it is after you purchased for a week and once they received your money, they don't refund and they don't care what they sold.
Very disappointing.

Very disappointed!!

On 30/03/17 I bought an Escape Voucher & did Instant Booking.

On 04/04, 08/04 & 20/4 I contacted Peppers Salt Resort & Spa and each time I was told they didn't have my booking and advised me to contact Social Living. I even forward them the confirmation I received from Social Living.

I've sent 3 emails to Social Living on 20/4, 25/4 & 27/4 and have received only one email to say they will get back to me in 48hrs and that was a few 48hrs ago.

Cleaning scam

I purchased a cleaning voucher and it turned out to be a scam. living social were terrible until I involved PayPal for a refund. At one point I was told I could have a store credit . I didn't want a store credit I wanted my money back.at this point I was told I had only been given a store credit as a gesture of good will and if I decided to question it or take it any further they would reverse my credit and I would need to seek a monetary refund from the vendor directly!
Talk about trying to threaten ! Anyhow I'm super glad I purchased through PayPal. I will never buy a living social voucher again!

My gift voucher was close to expiration and I wanted to get an extension for the voucher because the service provider was booked out! They offered me a refund straight away with no hesitation. The customer service was hugely appreciated and I recommend LivingSocial to everyone.

I omitted to read the terms and conditions and was unable to use a voucher i purchased. I contacted the customer service people from living social and was able to have my voucher refunded. Thank you for making this a painless process.

I have been shopping with Living Social for years and have had excellent service I recently Purchased a Jacket and had taken a bit longer to arrive I was offered a refund or the option to allow them to look into it as I really wanted the coat that was my option they found it had been lost in transit and they had it delivered within 2 days you can't ask for more than that Thanks Again.
