Magellan are rubbish

published

All the Magellan line are pieces of junk. I bought a Magellan 310 to use hunting in NSW. Now Magellan couldn't be bothered providing updates to NSW Dep of Primary Industries so the Magellan is now useless to me. You think I can get their customer service team to get back to me about this? not a chance. When I was able to use it, it would lose signal and drop waypoints. I went to a Garmin which has been slightly better

Absolute rubbish

published

Will not turn on after less than 12 months in storage mode. Once the internal battery has been depleted, it cannot be restored. So many people have had the same issue and Magellan will not offer any assistance.

Sorry but I have no idea

I peg mining leases in WA and DMIRS accept WGS 84 as a replacement datum if GDA94 is not available on your GPS. The difference is very little, about 1.5 to 2 mtrs. That's close enough for an Prospecting Licence. HTH
