My son loved it!
I have done a lot of research on formula before I put my son on the Aldi brand formula and we loved it. easy to make, not many air bubbles, he loved it and it was never as sweet as some of the other brands which was a plus for me.
Will be using the same for the next baby.

Perfect formula
My son has been using this since 5 months old. he is now 10 months old,
he has never once had constipation, vomited or been unable to drink it
A very good formula as over half the price of some others. Highly recommended. I dont see the need to pay u to $30 a tin for other ones. This one does the job at a fraction of the cost

Perfect for my little man
Very simple instructions on the tin, super easy to prepare. My son loves the taste, better than all the ones we have tried which have been alot! I have yet to experience anything bad about this formula. Best of all you get this great quality for such an affordable price. I highly reccomend Mamia GOLD 2

Excellent cost effective baby formula
Love this formula. So cost effective and Bub loves it also. Would reccommend it to anyone wanting to give something else a go. I've also noticed that my daughter has not been as spewy as she normally is. She suffered bad with reflux but it has settled down. Some to do with baby food introduced more ( which we also purchase from Aldi and love) but definitely a good quality and cost effective product

Great
This was the first formula and last we have had to use for follow on for our babies and had no issues with it!
I used a more expensive brand and it made my baby constipated and gave her a tummy ache!
This is affordable and just as goog as leading brands!

Helped my daughter sleep through the night!
This is a fantastic product and inexpensive. I taught my daughter to use a bottle a 6 months (over a month or so) with this product and she was happy to be on breast or Mamia. After she began having a bed time bottle she began to drop her overnight breast feeds (sometimes up to 5). Can't fault this product easy to make-up and no side effects for my 6 month old.

Bit frothy but overall great
We were on S26 gold but I thought I'd try this for the price. My baby isn't fussy at all. Personally, I don't think it tastes as nice but Bubs had no complaints and no tummy issues. It does froth a bit more than S26 so benefits from a bit of settling time.

Great follow on formula
I've never used any other formula than aldi brand. Started using this as a follow-on from the gold 1. Have had no issues with it, bubs loves it, I love the price. After comparing to other brands I'm glad I gave mamia gold a try. Would recommend to others. .....

Finally!
After trying about 15 different types of formula, this is the one! My baby loves the taste. And it eased his reflux massively. He transitioned from breast to this formula really well. Ive been using aldi formula for about 5 months now and its still the best decision i ever made.

Nasty Stuff!
My baby is possibly Lactose intolerant. Has been doing well on S26 Lactose free. Doc suggested trying regular formula again. My bubs has been on Mamia stage 1 in the past, which was ok, but made my bubs very gassy. Tried stage 2 and it was terrible! Bubs was very unsettled and screaming about 2 hours after a bottle. Went back to S26 and no issues.
My husband tried this formula and says it tastes like metal! Even he won't drink it.

Same again as the Gold 1, been very happy with it. We have had no problems with it and will continue to use it.Mixes well, baby drinks it well. And best thing, its Australian Made. Highly recommend it, hope it be as good for as its been good for us.

Great price!! Great product!! :D
We have used aldi mamia formula for our little girl since she was born. Stage 1 was great and stage 2 is just as good. The nappies are great too. Our girl is strong and very healthy :)
For $12.90 a tin it is great and it mixes well. I've tried the "best" formulas that cost $30 a tin and they were terrible for my girl. Every baby is different, so just ensure you take notice of how your baby reacts to any formula.

Followed on from Mamia Gold 1
My daughter is now 8 months and we've been using this formula since she was 6 months. Like stage one, I think this product is great. I have no complaints. My daughter likes the taste, she puts on good weight, and it doesn't upset her stomach. It's also such a good price for formula and made in Australia.
Someone mentioned that it smells fishy, and I did read somewhere that it contains fish oil (omega 3) in it. Which I think is great, because I know there are great benefits to fish oil. So I don't mind the slight, and I mean slight fishy smell.

Fishy
Tonight i opened 2 tins of the follow on for 6+months, the powder stinks like a fish market. Made a bottle, taste like rotten fish and horrible after taste. Opened a different tin, smell wasnt as strong of fish, didnt taste as bad.. Could be a bad batch, but cant risk feeding a baby fishy formula

not good for all!
I thought that I would save some $ and try this formula however after three days and a very unhappy bubs I have switched back. My 10 month old had explosive nappies, terrible nappy rash and very unsettled with this formula. I was really hoping that it would be great, as the price was much cheaper and I like that it's Australian made.

The best I've found
The only Australian made formula without any form of sugar added that I've been able to find. I don't shop at Aldi but go out of my way to buy this for my daughter. We often travel to NZ and I hate having to give her S26, Karicare or Aptamil while we're there (as they don't have Aldi).

Great baby formula!
After reading all the reviews about mamia formulas, I have not seen any bad reviews about it. So I decided to try it for myself and I gotta say it's one of the best products! It so Affordable only $15 a can comparing to other formulas on the market that can cost up to $25 a can, this is saving me heaps of money and also it's Australian made. My baby took it straight away with no fuss, I have no complaints!!
Inexpensive

Excellent!
Switched to this formula after having issues with NAN HA Gold 2 (green stinky poos, straining, rashes, reflux etc - see review); Karicare Plus 2 (very gassy and burbing a lot); NAN Comfort 2 (straining poos and slightly green - should have learnt my lesson and stayed away from NAN, but product review rated it highly).
It's been great for my baby, no issues. Have never used Aldi formula prior to this. Formula is easy to dissolve, cheap, readily available.
Inexpensive, 900g tin, value for money
Scoop could be smaller to make up 30ml volume increments instead of 60ml

My son is currently on aptmil stage 2 was wondering is aldi stage 2 is a similar formula and the ingredients?? Is it worth trying him on this formula as I do my aldi and jave to travel to get his formula and nappies
1 answer
Hi, I’m not qualified to recommend :) but I just researched the different brands, reviews and compared ingredients by looking at the back and made a call on which one felt right. We also tried one, than changed and really happy with alternative. I think all of them are very similar ingredients wise but differ in where they are produced, using organic ingredients, consistency etc

Apparent there is bad chemicals in this formula, one in particular stops the intake of calcium, anyone know more about this?
1 answer
Im sure they would not be able to sell this product if there were any bad chemicals added, the Australian and New Zealand standards for baby products are very high and i doubt they would pass if this is true.
If you are really concerned i suggest emailing the company directly as they will be able to answer all your questions directly.
I had both my girls in this formula both as follow on from breast feeding and i have had no issues with it what so ever, but in saying that the safety of our babies is always going to be number 1 priority so i would email the company directly
