Hugely impressive after four years
Great bbq and simply does not rust - its 304 grade s/s so I think the other reviews are not genuine. I live close to the coast and even the salt air does not impact on the steel. Any food mark, just wipe off with a little gumption
Mine will last for years to come, as its a very well made piece of kit.
I highly recommend it, seriously so

Cooks well but will rust before your very eyes
Purchased due to the perceived quality from it's $1000 price tag. I am pleased with the way it cooks.
However, despite being kept undercover and being cleaned regularly, I've had the following experience:
- Fabric BBQ cover fell to bits after only 12 months.
- Burners and flame tamers have had to be replaced after rusting and crumbling to nothing. Have owned this bbq for 3 years and have just replaced these parts for a second time. Hence now being motivated to write this review.
- Drip tray has just rusted out
Can see other reviewers of Masport 210 bbqs having similar issues. Hopefully Masport seek out some higher quality metal for their next model. But my trust in Masport has eroded like my bbq.
Purchased in May 2021.

Love our BBQ
We purchased this BBQ after our last one reached 17 years old & because it came with a rotisserie as well as pizza stone & BBQ. We use all 3 functions weekly. We are really happy with the way it cooks. Rotisserie meat to perfection & our Pizzas are delicious!
It’s side benches are helpful while cooking, it’s very easy to clean. Very happy with our purchase!

Brilliant product
I replaced a 20 year old Masport 6 burner with a new Masport 6 burner, the old unit had a few parts that were not able to be replaced due to the age of the unit, so off into the 21st century I went. The unit is smaller in size than the old unit, a bonus I reckon, easier to clean and easier to move if needed to be moved. The new unit is attached to mains gas, no more runs to the gas bottle supplier. It has the multifunction griddle, with space for a wok, a pizza stone etc etc, a great idea. It works a charm, and I will continue to buy Masport, if I ever need another one. If this one lasts as long as the last one, then I won't still be around but it will.

Heat is poor
I like to caramelise my meat and eat it rare. Almost impossible with the lack of heat the burners put off. I wish I had bought something different. Same problem with tuna steak. Not enough heat to char the outside. The burners are too far from the grill plate. Aesthetically it's appealing but functionally thats about it as far as appeal goes.

A lemon
I had This BBQ converted to natural gas and it does not get hot enough to sear steaks correctly. Very disappointed with this bbq. Build is good and instructions for the assembly are easy to understand. To use the rotisserie you need every gas jet going flat out to cook anything.

Theworst BBQ ive ever owned
Absolute rubbish. All the temp control knobs are faulty. Have been replaced once already Now one knob doesn't even turn on. Flair ups on grill side mean uneven cooking. Uneven temperature spread. & we sold these units through our shop. Poor after sales customer service from Masport head office. Don't even consider it !!

Very happy
This is my third BBQ and this time I was determined to research the best BBQ I could find. 3 months later and I am glad I did as I am absolutely stoked with this BBQ. It cooks especially well and even the family are surprised at how well the steaks are cooked. Another great thing is the hottest part of the plate or grill is in the centre and not at the back like most BBQ's. Only one little downside I am prepared to live with is the hotplate doesn't have a lip at the front edge and if you cook fatty food you have to stop the fat from running onto the plate support. It also cleans easily when still warm.

I know I mentioned that it doesnt have a lip on the plate and afterwards realised that it is supposed to run into a drain at the back. I dont like that and stop the fat from going there as it is messy... Read more
to clean later than a little every time I cook. The only other thing is that I bought the black powdercoat option and if I had the time again, I would have bought the full stainless option. This is because after using cleaners the paint has faded. Even with these after 7 months I am still very happy with this BBQSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

VALVE FOR MONEY
Received as a Birthday present from my wife, after she had read the reviews on this site and got the unit from Harvey Norman on their 20% sale. Fantastic unit, easy to cook and to clean. The cover is heavy duty and should last more than five years. The unit also came with BBQ tools, which is a bonus. Took approximately an hour to build as it is delivered in two packages, and you need two people to build it. No missing parts
cooks meat quickly, Hood
none

Very disappointed
The push button ignition lasted about 6 months. The battery operated rotisserie about the same. Tray under neath rusted out. Tubular gas jet rusted out and hanging down. Trays below grill rusted out and now disappeared. This is not the stainless model it is the supreme but in black. This unit was stored with our furniture for about one year and has been in this condition for quite a time i should have sent you this earlier. Barbecue is used quite a bit and has always been kept undercover and cleaned regularly.
It Looked a good unit and it cooks well. But i thought it would have lasted longer.
Mainly the rusted out sections. Did not seek warranty but should, have kept on putting it off.

The perfect BBQ!
After a lot of research on BBQs I decided to buy this one. I couldn't be happier. Cooks everything beautifully. Meat is tender everytime.
Extremely easy to clean. Mine also came with the stainless steel BBQ set. Well done Masport.
Looks awesome, cooks beautifully, easy to clean.

We all love it!!
I bought this for my partner, his old BBQ was always neglected as it was "too hard" to clean. I researched this BBQ, and found nothing but great reviews. Looks good, easy to clean, and cooks to perfection every time. The timer is also great when you want to cook fish or a roast, and I love the fact that I can keep my oven clean, because almost everything now gets thrown into the BBQ.
It cooks everything evenly, and is very easy to keep clean :)

How have the hot plates gone since? The enamel coating on mine have bubbled up and paint shavings went all over our food.

Questions & Answers
Frank1234asked
I am looking at getting masport mighty 6 burner grey bbq. Is this a good bbq for roast food cooking?
2 answers
Hi Frank1234, I have had Masport BBQs for years and always find them to be of high quality. If something does go wrong the customer service dept is always helpful. Having said that, in answer to your question, if the BBQ has a hood, which it does, and if the hood closes properly, and if it's Masport it will, then it will be good for roasting. I do chickens on the rotisserie, legs of lamb and beef on a rack and lots of veggies in my Masport. It does great job.
Thanks i have one getting delivered in 2 day

Where does the short hose connect to?

Hi Tillytammy,
sorry for the delay response as I have been overseas. All my hoses where already installed, I only had to connect the hose to the WOK.

Supplement to earlier review. I have cooked a pork loin roast on the rotisserie using the back burner and 4 outer burners with no plates and it cooked perfectly. Never had crackling so good.
