I bought a Masport 139CC Boxer Lawn Mower today and it has oil in air filter. Oil is clean. Is it normal ?
It was there when I opened the air filter cap and I didn’t put any oil into it at that time.
Thank you in advance

is the motor smoking when it runs. If yes, replace the filter, if no, should be fine.

There is a layer of sponge foam surrounding the filter. It is kept lightly oiled to attract dust particulates, for normal operation.
Inspect and clean daily. Coat with more clean oil, as required.

The plastic filler cap, including dipstick, is by the handle of the ripcord starter.

There is a plastic filler on the side of the motor. Its the only other filler except for the fuel.

Also make sure you keep the air cleaner clean, other wise it will draw engine oil into the carb and kill everything.
