Matrix products seem to be a white labeled product. You'll find different brands and colour, but with same shape. If matrix dies out you should be able to order other branded batteries and they should fit since they are made from the same factory.

My previous drill was a ryobi, but they kept changing the battery socket which forces you to buy a whole new drill.

The brushless drill version should last you a lifetime under non commercial use.

Overall, a great product for a great price.

Exactly what we needed when caravaning to put the stabilizer legs down and up. Compact size makes it easy to store. Light weight and reliable. Our 12 yr old loves using the drill. Easy to recharge but also has a long life battery so not required very often, which is a bonus.
