Nearly useless
I bought a 3 piece set including this driver, plus the reciprocating saw. The saw is OK. The angle grinder the drill and the driver are a total disappointment. The grinder cuts out the minute it has to grind something harder than paint. The drill has about half the torque of my 12 year old black and decker 12V. The driver won't drive even one bugle head- I have to use an allen key to drive them! But the fast-charger does charge the batteries quickly. What a shame the tools are absolutely gutless, without question the weakest things I h...Read more
ave ever used. February 12th 2022 Update: It has its uses, but no good for hardwood Update (Andrew1964), I have warmed slightly to the driver. ..yes, it will only drive bugle head screws into pine, and the retaining system wont hold some (good quality):driver bits (Irwin and Sutton). But with a 1/4 or 3/8 square adapter (Kanga ) it does save time on disassembly of mechanical jobs with many small bolts /screws. It drives decking screws ok. The 4AH battery is good for hour's of light/med work. And it has lasted the summer which I wasn't expecting. I have made a spot for it in my toolbox-put it that way...

Does what it needs to do!
Purchased in a combo kit. I have been highly impressed with this impact driver. It's build quality and value for money have made this tool a useful addition to my tool box.
While it may not be as refined as other impact drivers on the market, it still drive screws great into pine. Hardwoods like Jarrah it will get stuck and require a pilot hole. But most screws will usually snap before the driver can't drive them anymore.
I have abused this tool in some major DIY renovations/rebuild at home and would buy another one (probably the brushles...Read more
s one). If DIY is your thing, then this tool and it's range will be above and beyond. From a trade perspective, it might be a long way behind in terms of refinement. But it will still work, just maybe a bit slower.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fencer using a good 300 tech screws a day
So far first day, 300 screws on a 2/ah battery. Had 2/3 lights of charge left. I can screw as fast as the dewalt,Hitachi and AEG I used prior but costs much less. Power is as good, quality is almost on par I guess I will write another review after winter and give it a review on durability but its dam good for a cheap butt drill. Try it you might be surprised.

Ozito can be hit / miss this is a HIT
My ozito saw bench didn't last long at all, but this impact driver is fantastic!! It's well balanced and feels great in the hand. Control is also excellent with plenty of grunt for most jobs. All this and a 5 year warranty!!! Fire this price and usability you cannot go past it.

Excellent driver in 3 pc kit
After getting recommended of purchasing a 18v 3pc kit i am impressed. I had a ozito cordless drill prior and found the battery below standard. Upon using drill / driver / blower i am very pleased and the power of the driver is equilavent to most. I am impressed with all tools highly and would absolutely recommend this driver and purchasing all three for $200 its reachable product for all.

Good tool for price
My milwaukee 12v outperforms this.
That being said it cost a lot more. It feels like the impact driver is dialed down to save the tool from operator abuse. My guess is the demographic that would be purchasing this brand of tool would be doing smaller jobs and not need anything more heavy duty. Also restricting the tool will serve to reduce the failure rate when said demographic causes failure due to their ignorance.
This tool has been in non stop use all day by a 13yo girl to drive various screws and coach bolts into timber. The drill was also used for piloting and counter sinking. Both have been absolutely fantastic and have not failed in the heat yet. Keen to see how long they will last.

Does the job, value for money
Great impact driver that's part of the power x change range! Drives screws, bolts quickly with plenty of torque, especially larger screws (over 50mm?) Works great with self drilling screws. Perfect impact driver for handyman /diy. Looking for more projects to work out its potential!
Only bad point is that the hex bit inserted will wobble/loose, can be moved forward and back a few mm, but bit won't fall out. Doesn't affect it's performance!
Ps: impact driver is different from a drill and does the job much better/faster for fastening applications.

The one I bought had excessive run-out (wobble)
I bought one from Bunnings because it's cheap and made by Einhell so I thought maybe it's decent quality. I tried it out at home and it had excessive wobbling when spinning aka run-out. Otherwise it seems pretty decent, so maybe I got unlucky. If you decide to buy one, I highly recommend you test it in store first. I ended up getting a refund and buying Bosch for more money.

Torque rating highly overrated, no even half!
So i purchased the Ozito power x-change impact driver after looking at the specifications and finding out the device puts out 150Nm apparently. I purchased it to mainly assist in loosening bolt and such when working on my car with my main want is taking the wheel lug nuts off easily. Well the 150Nm isnt up to the task. I measured the force required and its about 90Nm to undo, and then i do the nuts back up at about the 90Nm mark. This device being rating 150Nm, cant undo them. It is my first impact driver but i must say very inaccurate specifications. This is actually an Einhell product from europe with ozito re branding it. Waiting for bunnings/ozito to bring over the hammer drill in the range that shares the same battery.

Sallyasked
somehow a drill bit has become stuck in the drill! How do we get it out? We have pulling and pulling but its not budging?
1 answer
Sometimes when the bit gets stuck and won't release when you pull the collar. Tap your impact driver with the bit attached onto a piece of hardwood or maybe turn it facing upward and tap lightly with a hammer. The bits can get stuck. Also, make sure you always use impact bits, as they are of a better quality metal designed for impact.
Hopefully you can get it out. If not, return it to Bunnings with your receipt. Can't find your receipt... Search your transactions till you find the Bunnings purchase when you bought it and they can find the receipt I'm their system.
Still no luck. Walk in there with the tool and point out to them that it has a manufacturer date on it and that it's within five years... That worked for me once with a ozito vacuum. However, I was a regular customer.
Good luck!

Hey,
Yes, it should work when cooled down, give it a rest! Should it still fail to work, get a replacement at bunnings (5yr warranty period). Cheers
