Ryobi Hammer drill kit. R18PD3
I bought this Ryobi hammer drill kit the other day and it is great. my old ozito blew on me and this drill has a lot more power and just looks overall better quality. Great kit comes with a 5 ah battery and a 1.5 ah.
Purchased at Bunnings Warehouse for A$199.00.

Very capable drill.
I have the 2012 model of Ryobi One+ drill, but have always needed to go and get my Bosch 240V drill for making holes in my brickwork around the house. I finally decided to get this drill from my local Bunnings, and it came in a kit with the Angle grinder and small circular saw (Ryobi 18V ONE+ 2.5Ah 4 Piece Kit)
I have owned this drill for about 5 weeks, and used it almost daily for various tasks. It has plenty of speed and power when coupled with decent drill bits. I've tested it by installing new garden beds, mounting a gate, mounting a ca...Read more
binet to the wall and various other smaller tasks. As expected, the drill makes short work of anything timber, and doesn't struggle ripping into steel with the 5AH battery I have. I was keen to test this in concrete, and promptly wanded my wall to ensure I had no power running behind. After I levelled up the cabinet and marked my drill locations, I proceeded to drill into the concrete. This drill exceeded my expectations of a hammer drill, taking merely seconds to drill 8mm holes for my 50mm long Dyna-Bolts. If you are a home "handy man" and prefer to get the job done than hunting around for an extension lead and your power drill, then this drill will be what you need. Obviously, if you can afford it's more costly brushless relative, head that way. My ONLY criticisms would be the missing magnetic screw tray above the battery, which my older Ryobi drill has, as well as it's impact driver twin. No real biggie, i just need to put the screws in my pockets now I guess. What my other drill also had was a spirit level in the body too, which ensured you were drilling level. This newer one doesn't contain that either. Pros: Accepts all your other One+ batteries Handy LED illuminates your drilling location Screw driver bit holder
