I bought the Maxi Cosi Citi capsule and base but i didnt realise the base that i bought with it isnt an Isofix base. Can i buy a new base on its own? And can i get and iosfix one that works with the Citi?

The Maxi Cosi Citi capsule does come with ISOfix connections, this capsule base is installed using the cars seat belt.

How well would it fit in a small car? I have the maxi cosi mico ap and its too long and leaves no room in the front passenger seat... looking into buying this car seat so just wondering if it will fit in a Toyota Yaris comfortably

Carrier & base - 38W x 63D x 46H cm (62cm handle up). Our restraint are of a universal design to fit most cars out there, if you are limited with space in your car then we would recommend visiting a specialty baby store and trying out one of their display models in your car for possible fitment and also ease of use. I am expecting twins in December, being this is one of the lightest and stream line capsules it’s ticking all the boxes, however curious how comfortable my bubbas will be being that it will be summer.. and can get pretty hot in Perth - any feedback regarding this? Thank you

Hi Laura, Congratulations on your Twins, I can only imagine how excited you must be. :)
You are correct, the Maxi-Cosi Citi Baby Capsule is the lightest baby capsule on the market, but unlike the other capsules in our range, that feature our 'Cool Baby' wicking fabric, the Citi features a more durable, easy to clean fabric.

I love my CityMini GT stroller, so for Bub2, i want to get a capsule compatible with it. It seems this one is, with adapters.
My question though is - is it true that this can be used with or without the base. Does the base make it more safe, or just easier to click in when you are on the go?
I'm wondering whether to get a second base for our second car, or just have one base for my car, and use the belt for other car used less often....
