There's a switch near the interior lights. Rock it one way to engage, the other to disengage, leave it in the middle for door activation.

we have a 2014 bt 50 xtr it goes well on road but when we go and down hill it stalls up to 30 time it starts straight away but are running out of ideas why this is happening

Could be a couple of things. When was the last time the fuel filter was changed? I'd check the obvious things first, fuel filter then air cleaner. It's amazing how many things are solved with those two parts. Other than that it could be a wiring problem, one of the injectors not firing because of the angle. Change those filters if you haven't already, but I'd take it Mazda. They can put it on the laptop and take it for a drive. It will spit out what's going wrong.

take it to a mechanic or mazda asap
Could be the crappy bearings going in it if they use the same as the manual box. If it's under warranty, take it back to Mazda
the Mazda dealer where I took the van to say that's how it dos work so I don't no what to do now with that van an it's doing only 12000k

Has anyone had problems with the GPS in a 2016 BT50 ??, I have been back to MAZDA for the last 12 months and they just put a brand new system in' and it just won't work??? the original one I had worked but was very slow loading up, you would arrive at your destination before it started???

Hey Paul, other than the GPS is useless in the BT-50?? It all looks pretty but in reality it's hard to use and put addresses in. I stopped using mine about a month after I bought the car and just used google maps (although now I use wayz as you can see when coppers are coming up). As long as your phones connected via bluetooth, the voices will come through the radio.

We've just purchased a 2022 BT 50 dual cab and have read a number of reviews saying the paintwork is really thin. Was offered paint protection through the dealer but my panel beater advised not to use their products and has referred me to a professional car detailer to have a ceramic protection put on. Apparently the stuff he uses has a 95% glass content had he will guarantee the work for 7yrs. Any thoughts please

Hi, just wondering .... while towing a van with my 2016 BT50 the fuel light came on at 1/4 fuel remaining. It doesn’t come on then when doing around town driving. So 1. How many kms can I do once the fuel light comes on when towing. 2. Why does it come on at 1/4 of a tank when towing and close to E when not towing. Thanks

I have just baught a 2022 mazba bt50 4x4 space cab for work and the fuel consumption if really bad i am getting around 12L 100km i had a 2013 hilux before and was getting alot better fuel economy. I had a look at the exhaust and it looks like there are 2 fuel lines that run into the Cat .

yep - my 2013 BT got 7.2 and the 2018 version I have of the same thing is at 10 - extremely disappointing
