Yep - my 2013 also, we had 2 in our fleet that did the same thing, expensive fix, some fan unit thing under dash and a common problem

My 2008 bt50 has power problem. It starts quiet well drives better in dust roads but on the wide road it doesn't have power at all. It even cuts off then i start i drive a little while it cuts off again what shoul be the problem?

Have a 2015 BT 50 single cab ute, bluetooth has gone. Pressing the phone button results in the mute sign coming up. Asking the on board assistant for bluetooth, she replies 'no bluetooth'. Can't access it from ANY menu. It's just gone. Anyone know how to do a reset on the system to bring it back?

I just bought a bit-50 second hand and I recommend you try turning your phone Bluetooth off ad then back on. The menu was strange to me but my 12 year old worked it out in a flash. LOL

unless you are an excellent and experienced at towing no you have no power steering no power. brakes you need a trailer unless you can idle the bt50 being towed
It will be towed with an A-frame so steering and brakes won’t be a problem, I’m more concerned if it will damage the automatic transmission??

mine does exactly the same 2016 model. to fix turn off traction control b4 starting and leave it off.or disconnect battery 4 1-2hours then start normally and it wont-do-it-4one to two weeks.

I had a flat battery on my BT50 Ute today, had to get RAA to get it going again. The problem I’ve got is that the fuel tank thinks it’s empty even though it’s almost full. The dash shows 0km left. Any ideas why?

I have a 2009 Mazda BT50 dual cab (4x2) automatic with only 115,000kms.
When in drive (D) shifting through the gears is a bit jerky.
1st - 2nd = NORMAL.
2nd - 3rd = Revs high then goes into 3rd.
3rd - 4th = A kind of jolt and kicks into 4th.
4th - 5th = NORMAL.
Does anyone have any idea of what to do? Would an auto transmission fluid change solve the situation?

I think they're all like that cleaning mine 2011 3 L BT50 it's not sure if it's South around 3rd gear so I did not changing it manually both the time and don't leave it in overdrive until you're out on the highway

Hi. I have a 2012 BT50 GT. It has developed a low pitch hum\whine from around 40km - 80km. Seems to becoming from the wheels. Checked wheel bearings, tires, drive shafts CVs. I have checked some online forums which suggest “dry hub seals”. Has anyone else had a similar issue

2018 bt50 6000kms on the clock. The fuel economy is absolutely horrible. 450kms to a tank. And after reading the majority of posts on here I know its not a running in issue
Any one got any bright ideas on a solution?

Matt G, DPF delete, egr delete, 3inch exhaust with 200 cell catalytic converter, no muffler, 2 micron fuel filter, catch can on turbo, aluminium intercooler pipe, ecu remap. Now 598nm of torque at the wheels. Returns 8.5 lt/100 freeway empty, 15 to 17 lt/100 with slide on camper on and towing 1500kg boat.. No warranty though, all done before it had 3000kms on the clock.
Any issues with the remap? Heard so many stories about chips and remaps
I never had any trouble with mine. Have you got an auto or manual box? With a manual box, I was getting pretty consistent 8.5-9 L/100 (that's what the dash said), but I'd get(around 650-700 Km per tank.

Find out where the noise is coming. If it is outside the engine, it could be on the belts and pulleys driving the fan alternator and ac. You can remove the belts linked to ac and see if the noise disappears. If not then it could be the belt and idler to the alternator.

Recently I found with my 2015 BT-50 I could not remove the ignition key cause I had left it in drive gear.
Maybe a linked to similar issue.
Try checking you ignition.
