Do not use this company! They are hopeless at packing and storing your belongings, they severely lack communication skills, they don’t tell you about added fee’s once you request their services adding on service/tax/stair fees, they tell you one price and then you get a significantly higher price on the invoice!
Original quote was $700 ended up totalling close to $1500

When I said that was ridiculous and wouldn’t pay the higher costs, I was told they were going to take my Washing machine/fridge/microwave if I didn’t pay the extra costs!

We were moving from a 2 bedroom apartment - Melbourne City Movers were on time, so careful with all our things, quick to load and unload. The boys were polite and the communication with Gill was exceptionally prompt and clear.

Moved a one bedroom from a house to an apartment. It was a short journey. I booked the move weeks in advance and the night before I received a text saying they would be two hours late. I asked them if they could come sooner and I was told they would text me in the morning. I received no communication in the morning and couldn’t reach the driver. The removalists were over two and a half hours late to arrive. Then during the move, they caused extensive damage to the floor of the apartment. Horrible service. Would never recommend nor ever use again.

Big move - full house of furniture and heavy stuff included - the guys were late from a previous job - however rang early and told me - then kept me up with their movements and time of arrival. They worked so hard - given the stair issue - went the extra mile & charged me correctly - I have moved many many times - best price and service so far - special thanks to Inder & Karen - my movers - and will call them again when I need to move!.

We moved a theee bedroom house over a short distance. Gill coordinated the details and was professional and very communicative from beginning to end. The removal team arrived exactly on time, worked extremely hard and efficiently, took great care with our furniture and were very polite and professional. I have no hesitation recommending Melb City Movers and will use them again myself.

2 men moved a 2 bedroom unit with a garage half full of stuff, to a 3 bedroom, 2-storey. New house only ten minutes away and the guys had the job done in 4 hours. They worked really hard and smart and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely hire again.

I had to book the lift in my building so was stressing about the movers coming late, however Melbourne City movers arrived right on time. They were quick and efficient, and took great care in covering our furniture to ensure nothing was damaged. We accidentally left our building key with one of the movers and he kindly went out of his way that night to drop it back off at our new house. Their prices are extremely reasonable, would definitely recommend.

Melbourne City Movers assisted with my move from 2 bed unit, Kew to 3 bed house, Doncaster. Only took 2.5hrs. Staff were extremely professional, very careful when handling the furniture, and super speedy! My partner and I were very impressed.

Very happy with my recent move through Melbourne City Movers from Prahran to Richmond. Excellent service from the beginning, even when I changed the time three times trying to time lift bookings! The two movers I had were great at their job, very careful when moving large items through narrow hallways and difficult corners. Cheaper than any other company I could find, would recommend to anyone!

I recently used Melbourne City Movers, to move me from Melton to Glen Waverley. They were highly recommended by a friend of mine, and I must say I was not disappointed. I was a bit worried but the guys Raf and Harry did an amazing job. They took good care of my furniture and were very polite. I had heavy furniture which had to go upstairs and they did it very well.

The boys were very professional, moved everything in quick time. Protected everything as much as possible and were very polite. High recommended and will definitely use them again. Gill and Sam were very helpful and there was no extra charge for rescheduling at the last minute.

Movers arrived half an hour early. I was moving across town from a 2 bed apartment to another 2 bed apartment. The movers were extremely slow and would only place 1 item of furniture in the lift at a time. They needed to be encouraged to put more in and wouldn't move any quicker. One person would put something in the truck and the other would just stand and watch. Neither brought a drink bottle and I had to get glasses out for them that I had already packed. I had moved 12 months earlier and it took only 2 hours. This time it took 3.5 and I helped a lot and needed to push them. Very disappointing
