We bought new to avoid the headaches of a used motor. 3 year warranty sounded good also.
6 Hrs on new motor & it won’t stay running gas all over boat and in the lake, 4 miles from boat dock.
Mercury‘s response (that happens sometimes) 2-4 weeks for repair depending on what’s wrong with it.
Don’t waste your time & money.
Sales people did a great job promoting this motor.
Not very reliable or safe with gas spry in the boat. When your check clears the bank customer service is optional.
