Top tier performance, quiet and reliable!
I'm unashamedly a car fanatic. As such, tyres are extremely important to me. I've owned a diverse array of tyre brands and models, but I always look for the same three things:
- Wet/Dry Performance
- Quietness
- Good wear +
The Micheline Latitude Sports have defintely met the mark on all three of this requirements.
They perform incredibly well in both the wet and dry, in a 2.5t performance SUV pushing out 344kw.
They're quiet - there is reduced road noise, but more importantly NO DRONE!
They've so far shown average wear; in line with what a softer compound performance tyre. They should last ~30,000km. ...Read more

Superb tyres
Excellent tyres on both wet and dry surfaces. Very good braking and corner handling abilities. A little on the expensive side, but when you have your kids in the car, you can't compromise on cheap and nasty tyres. Tyres are still new (5000kms) and still a long way to go before they need replacement.

Perfect in everyway IS V3.
After 55,000 on the Italian tires a lot of searching of the 4 or so large tires available at BJ's decided to go with the Latitude Sport 3. Had them only 2 weeks but took them on a drive from Adelaide to Melbourne and back after a few 100km's around town. They were quiet, responsive and made our almost 11 year old X5 feel like a new car on the road. Have 19" rims, 255/50 on the front and 285/55 on the back, hugs the road like a rally car now. Five star rating is almost understating what these Green Technology tires have done wrt noise and ride cf the P Zero Rosso they replaces.

quietest tyre I have found in 275 55 19 on Merc GL 320
These tyres are remarkably quiet throughout their whole life, unlike Pirellis which were so noisy I thought
I had a worn bearing.
43,000 kms so far, I might get another 5000.
Great in the dry. Experienced a little aquaplaning at speed on the highway now they are nearly warn out. Not one puncture in their life as against regular punctures with the Pirellis. Mostly highway driving with occasional country dirt roads. Paid Aus $350 a tyre about 18 months ago. Will definitely buy another set soon. Averaged 10.7 litres per 100Kms with this set of tyres as against 11.3 with Pirellis.

Excellent Road Tyre; Good off-road; quiet and grippy; expensive compared to others.
Bought these for my X5 a month ago. The tyres grip well on all sorts of surfaces and are quiet. The one time I drove off-road on a muddy track they tended to slide slightly, which I found disappointing. Looking at the tread, I think they'll last at least 40K.
Overall, a very competent tyre, but pricey and possibly not the best value for money (paid 620 for each rear tyre, 540 for each front one). Definitely will look at alternatives when they are due for replacement.
Quiet; Grippy on the Road.
Price; not as grippy off-road.
