Is there a way to drain bad fuel from the tank without having to remove the fuel tank from the car? Tank filler has a guard stopping even a small siphon hose from getting to the fuel in the tank. Can't see any drain plug in the tank any where. Any advice?

Better to drain it at the drain plug on the bottom of the fuel tank. Look up the workshop manual online to locate it.

If you already know what you're doing skip forward to 5:40. Best car to learn on as there's nothing that can catch you out, unlike the oil filter on my Landy.

Does anyone else know why my magna would be using excessive fuel? I'm averaging 25L per 100kms. I've changed all the spark plugs, spark plug leads, I've changed both rocker cover gaskets, replaced the MAF sensor, I've got a clean air filter, I've changed the distributor cap, the oil is in good condition and I'm using regular 91 fuel.
My car is a 1996 Magna TE Executive with the 3.0L V6 and only has 28000kms on the clock.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. My driving habits are really good also. Cheers!

Have you reset the computer? Choosing either sedan or wagon and the correct engine capacity ? If incorrect you fuel mapping will be wrong.
