The taste is not great, it tastes a little bit like coffee alternative.

This coffee has a nasty bitter taste. The formulation must have changed as my favourite coffee is almost undrinkable. It leaves sludge at the bottom of the cup. It comes in a tin- Barista- and I can't wait to finish it and buy a new jar of coffee.

The best you can get for an instant coffee during rush hours in the morning or on lazy afternoon teatime. I have tried a couple of Moccona’s instant coffee variety, I prefer their medium roast version like Barista Reserve Smooth Expresso, Exotic and dark roast like the Indulgence.

For this particular flavor, it is smooth, not bitter at all, less chocolaty and bold compare to Moccana Indulgence, not as fruity as the Exotic, but some where in between, if you like the medium columbian profile, then this is it!
