I used the Crawling Insect Bomb 3 pack in the golden packaging, set it off yesterday before leaving the house for 7 hours.
I see lots of people struggled with the tabs but I'm female (and no Hulk), and found them easy enough to push down and lock when using the thumbs of both hands.
We have a 100sqm, three bedroom house in a rectangular shape, and I used the 3 cans evenly spaced out in the hallway between all rooms with all connecting doors open. I realise that I probably should have used more than 3 cans if one covers 16sqm best, however m...

I actually am very happy with the product, it works really well for us. I see dead roaches as soon as we come back in after 2+ hours and keep seeing them turn up dead for months after, they're even dead outside on the balcony and dont even make their way in. It lasts for 3 months or more. The more we've used it (every 3 months or so) the more time we can leave between the next bomb. I think it doesnt leave a nasty residue or smell. 2 hours is a very reasonable wait time to be able to come back home. It's safe for house plants. BUT those DAMN TA...

As with other people I have wasted three bombs because the button would not click into place. This is obviously a problem so why isn't something being done about it. I end up paying for a pack of three when I can only get one, if any, bombs out of it.

Very hard button to click into place. Got covered in spray trying with both hands to click into place. All bombs same. Will not be using this again after reading so many people have the same problem for so long and nothing has changed. And will spread the word to boycott as this is too dangerous.

I used 3 of these - the tabs were just too hard to lock into place quickly. I had to try and hold my breath as mist sprayed out and try to lock them.
They did work as far as getting rid of pests but I wouldn't recommend them to buy.

I have a flea problem so bought six Mortein bombs as I wanted to do every room in the house. After the hassle of turning off all appliances, taking down the smoke alarms and covering up computers etc, I could only get one out of the six to lock into place. I tried several times while trying to hold my breath so not inhale the fumes. I'll be returning these for a refund and won't be buying this brand again.

HELP. mortein. I pressed the tab, it wouldn't snap into place. I tried numerous times. Its inevitably inhaled. I'm not happy. Have got the cans but no receipt. Same problem with 2nd can. Not happy. what is the next step I should take.Prefer not to ring consumer affairs. i'd like the product replace, not willing to pay postage!

Completely waste of money! The first one didn't work, I canot lock the tab. Went out, read the instruction again and went back in and tried 2nd can which didn't work as well but I inhaled a lot of mist in the air and made me feel nauseous!!!
Do not buy them!!!

Once the weather and humidity picked up, the cockroach and other little black beetle populations exploded in my new kitchen. Two days ago we bombed overnight; two cans in the kitchen. We took all the utensils and food out of the cupboards and followed all directions. Next morning I expected to see dead and dying insects, as has happened in previous houses with a different brand. Rubbish!!! The tab isn't working. Push down for 2 minutes but still can't snap into place. It's terrible experience, when the air shot out you have to hold it and can't stay away. Only one of three can package worked.

This must be the best product on the market for killing spiders and all types of insects . I use this item every 3 to 6 months . Make sure to open all wardrobes and drawers. And turn off all powerPoints. I can't live without .

The tab on the bombs wouldn't click done only 1 out of 3 did now have to wash everything for It Not to work. What a waste of effort and money.

First time trying this product. I think the plastic tab on my can must have been broken because surely it should not be so hard to use!

Was determined to set it just before I left for work today; pushed down the tab and chemical shot out everywhere but it wouldn't click on. Went out, got some fresh air, and went back in to the room to try to get it to work. Repeated this twice again after I got home from work, thinking maybe I didn't push hard enough or there was some trick to it. I have gotten several lungfuls of pesticide today just trying...

We have moved into two bedroom apartment recently and we've seen heaps of carpet beetles around. I bought two packs of this (6 cans) and it did nothing. Didn't find a single dead one only seeing more of the alive ones.
The packaging clearly states it kills off carpet beetles that's why I bought it.
Even the flies that come in I have to spray with my 2$ Coles insect spray to kill them. Works much better than this product.

Had a pretty bad redback infestation in my garden shed
This was about a month ago.
Let off the control bomb, forgot about it for a few days.
Went back into the shed a few days later to begin cleaning it out, dead spiders everywhere.

This product is really effective against spiders.

Haven't seen any redbacks since. Couldn't be happier with it.

I do a "preventive" bombing with this product about every six months and it's kept insects away quite well. Whenever I see a few spiders or bugs, around the 4-6 month mark usually, i know it's time for a bombing.
Until I read it today in these reviews, I didn't realize that the 3 month effect was only for fleas. I'd assumed it kept killing for 3 months.... as had been my experience. So that's why the 4 stars instead of 5 as the misleading is quite effective.

How the hell do i get a complaint through to these damn people!! I want a refund. Used all 3 bombs in my house at one time, not only did it NOT kill the damn cockroaches .... it made them 10x worst. We came home after the 2 hours, aired out the house only to see the cockroaches crawling everywhere. All over the walls, on the couch, over the coffee table ... it was bloody ridiculous. Never have i ever seen it that bad! Did i find atleast one dead cockroach... NO! Such a load of crap i tell ya. NEVER AGAIN!

I set off all 3 cans in one combined dining kitchen lounge with cupboards open. On returning all tiles were greasy & slippery. Rewashed the floor & all my utensils. That evening cockroaches came out as if nothing happened. Demanding compensation from MORTEIN & will also make complaint to Office of Fair Trading. This product is a fraud.

Used it last weekend. Left the house closed for 2 days.still seeing cocoroaches crawling around.Wat a waste of time and money.Does not work at all.Crap product!!!

Had a small flea infestation in one area of the lounge room so used both flea bombs as it is a largish area. Used as instructed... still had fleas in the same area the next morning... Won't use this again and would like a refund.

I wasted a lot of money on this product trying to get rid of fleas. It may have worked once but not anymore. Obviously fleas etc have become immune just like they have to Fronting and other spot applications. Should not be on the market. Don't waste your money.

Never buy and waste your money . Used 6 cans in a 2 bedroom unit and the locked the house actually for 2 days expecting better result . Doesn't work at all . Complete waste of money.

I tried 6 so called bomb in one time for more than 2 hrs. but its 2 days now I found only 2 flies dead. But cockroaches are making fun of me. wasted $ 22 for nothing

Have used similar products for years and was very happy.
Now they are a waste of money, ants back next day.
Either solution has been watered down or the ants are mighty amounted.

I set of 2 bug bombs in my tiny shed and didnt even will 3/5 daddy long legs that live in there. These bombs are not even stong enough to do a tiny cat carrier. Waste of money and time. DO NOT BUY!!!!!
