Mountain Buggy Duet- the perfect double pram!
Never written a review before but this pram is so good that I feel compelled to write this. Was not interested in buying tandem pram (one child cannot see much, tucked away down below PLUS, only baby can recline). However, when researching, most people said that double prams never fit through aisles at shops. The solution? New Mountain Buggy Duet! Only 1.5 times the width of a single MB pram, this fits through aisles, doorways etc, with ease. What's more, both children can see out. YOu have the option to adjust each seat to any degree of reclin...Read more
e; this is great for when my toddler wants to have a nap- he doesn't have to sit upright the whole time. It's so light and easy to steer- can do with one hand. Wheels perfect for offroad. Great storage basket, drink bottle holder, awesome sun canopies (and separate for each seat), peep hole for checking sleeping babies... the list goes on and on... both children can enjoy scenery, easy to get through narrow spaces, easy handling and steering a little heavy to lift into car but the pros far outweigh thisSimilar opinion? Should have brought it sooner
After a Maclaren twin evo 2 steelcraft twin n a phil n teds this one is perfect small n comPact but fits bOths boys in it and fits in my car! It's easy to steer and push up hills and fold flat without reopening itself as u try to put it in the car. Highly recommend
Everything especially the retractable goods that block out the light since my lil man is a vampire
Expensive and u hve to buy the rain cover seperate

Adore this pram!
Brilliant. I loved my single mountain buggy for how well it pushes and handles and the duet is exactly the same. Going for long walks is effortless. I love that the kids can sit next to each other and both be entertained. These two facts have kept me sane with two small kids (2 and newborn). But what I really love about the duet is that it is the same width as my single! It means I can literally go anywhere- great for trips where the kids need to be strapped in but the space is not designed for a big wide pram... E.g the dentist, doctors rooms ...Read more
etc. this means the duet gives me heaps of freedom and is never restrictive. Love love love it. Narrow width, great steering and turning circle, can go off road, smooth ride. Plenty of storage. Can get rain/storm cover Pretty heavy still- a bit of effort getting into car (we have a big boot but could be a problem if you didn't). The carrycot must be very small because of how narrow it is so I never purchased it- I did miss this feature a little. If you have big kids make sure they fit- narrow seats ok for me as I have smaller than average 2yr old.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Duet - Love it!
I absolutely love this pram. I previously had a Baby Jogger City Mini Double but I could not fit it through my front door, plus the underneath basket was almost impossible to access. I decided to take the plunge and purchased the Duet - I haven't looked back. Not only does it fit easily through any doorway (including my front door) but the basket is much easier to access. It pushes very well, and fits my 8 mth old and 2.5 year old comfortably. My 4 year old can also hitch a ride on the foot rest when needed. The sun hoods are fantastic and prov...Read more
ide great protection from the elements. It's a great compact double pram that I highly recommend. I was a bit worried about the excess material that covers seats when they are in upright position, but I just push this material behind the seats and it's out of the way. Both my children also fall asleep easily when in pram. I actually love it so much that I think about all the walks I can take it on - with the children, of course!! Great walking pram, narrow, compact, fantastic hoodsSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love this pram!
This is a great pram. I checked out and test drove many tandem and side by side strollers and this is by far the best. I have a 22 month old and an 8 week old and i need to get out of the house of an afternoon with them or my todder gets too active inside the house. Walking them in the afternoons is easy and safe.
Very compact for a side by side, easy to go up onto the path after crossing the road.
Heavy to lift in the car especially if you have had a c-section, but i expected that.

Fantastic side by side pram!
I had an almost 2.5 year old son when I just recently had my second son. I had imagined that I would carry my baby in a sling & put the toddler in his stroller to make outings to shopping centre etc...well, after one such outing I soon realised that this wasn't going to work as I had imagined. Reluctantly I started to research different options & the feedback I got from people was that a side by side pram seemed to work best. I was a little scared of the idea of maneuvering a large side by side! I had a mountain buggy swift previously that ...Read more
I loved so was so happy to find the new duet! This pram gives me the freedom to get out & about & not to worry about not fitting into stores & cafes as well as being to go for walks around the neighbourhood. My toddler loves sitting in this pram with his baby brother & whilst I was initially concerned that the seat width & length would be small for him (he is on the tall side) this doesn't seem to be a problem. It really doesn't feel too wide or conspicuous, handling is excellent, storage area underneath is so accessible & huge!...could fit lots of shopping, fits in my hatch boot (just). It is heavy to lift in & out of the car as well as a bit awkward to pick up when folded but this is a small negative & manageableSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Mountain Buggy Duet is a sanity saver
the duet really is a sanity saver. The duet transports both my kids and everything they need for a day out, and with room to fit in the things we collect along the way. BUT it is a slim as a single stroller so you can go anywhere with it.
Slim side by side double with roomy comfortable seats and fantastic hood coverage.

Fits through narrow doorways but becomes a hot box inside!
I bought this pram after searching everywhere and reading every review possible. It wasn't until using this pram with my newborn twins that I realised a few missing features; of most importantance; ventilation in the seats. This pram becomes like a hot box in the sun and my babies hate it (even in Brisbane's winter). Such a shame as it fits through any door way and is great on paths & offroad. The peek-a-boo flaps are velco, which wake my babies everytime due to the noise. It is also very heavy and awkward to lift, you need a large car boot ( I...Read more
have a Honda CRV and it just fits but takes up the whole space). Durability, sturdy pram, great sun shade cover & UV net Hard seats, no ventilation in the seat backs, heavy to lift, velco window openings (noisy)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Handles like a single
Love my Duet. It is only 63cm wide so there is some compromise in the seat width but this doesn't bother my three year old. With both kids in there (3year and 3months) it handles better than my single stroller. Fits through aisles in small shops. Seats are a bit hard so I have a fleece insert for my baby. Great way of adjusting straps. It's very heavy to lift in and out of the car but I think its weight is what gives it a good, sturdy ride. Brilliant!
The only really bad comment I have is wih regards to the optional carrycot. It is poorly made.
Great handling. Same width as a single.
Hard seats for a young baby. HEAVY!!

No better twin pram on the market in Australia in my opinion:)
The Duet is a brilliant pram. It's not the lightest but given it's side by side design, very compact compared to what else is out there. Doorways and shop aisles are no problem and it collapses easily to get it in and out of the car, or up the stairs of Melbourne's older trams with the ridiculous pole in the middle of the stairs ..... Just make sure the tram isn't too crowded. I would hate to have an inline twin pram because the Duet turns an a dime rather than requiring a 5 point turn. Our newborn twins ride in the optional travel system (whic...Read more
h faces towards the person pushing the pram). We chose the Safe'n'Sound Unity (not the highest crash safety rating but practicality is also important with twins) which easily clicks out of its base in the car and into the Duet. The number of looks of amazement (and envy?) we have gotten with this rather spaceship looking arrangement is worth it alone. Like all the mountainbuggies that friends have had, this model appears fairly indestructible and I look forward to years of use. Compact design, great handling, useful travel system option It's not light but then neither is the competition. The lack of travel system instructions ..... Thanks YouTube!2 comments
It's the Duet. The MB website tells you which capsules fit.

Hi I am wanting to purchase a Mountain Buggy Duet. I have been given an older Mountain Buggy Duo which is a great pram but its just so big and heavy to get in and out of the car and our dog which is a large dog (Golden Retriever) has to squish in the side of the boot and lay on the pram to fit in the car which is not ideal because 95% the time when we are going for a walk we are taking him plus his hair gets all over the pram as well when he is laying on it. I was wondering has anyone with a Toyota Prado purchased the Duet and how does it fit in the boot? How much space in the boot would you say you have around the pram? Thanks

Is the depth of the seat adjustable? My nearly two year old seems to slide down as there is no depth in the seat?
