Not worth the price tag
Bought the Nano V2 in Singapore for a year of traveling ahead of us. Have only had it for a month and had endless troubles. The back wheels keep coming off unexpectedly, mid walk. Had both back wheels replaced alternatively and 3 different frame/chassis replacements but unfortunately the same problem keeps occurring.
The concept of a small light weight travel stroller is great but the overall quality of this buggy is a let down.
I will return the buggy tomorrow to the shop I bought it from and will ask for my money back. It will be the...Read more
sixth time, in a month that I will return to the shop due to issues with this buggy. Found it helpful to read that other people have had the same issues, as the store keeps telling me they haven't heard of this issue before.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Lightweight, easy - perfect for travel
compact and lightweight this is perfect as a daily run about. Its super easy to fold/unfold and carry, is quite sturdy, takes up almost no space in the car boot, and the ride quality is very good for a travel stroller. Only downside is its not great on stairs/steps but you can't have everything - I still use it most days (including commuting on the train) and am very happy with it. One thing to note is you will have to buy the custom sun/storm cover for it - most universal ones do not fit.

It's perfect for going to the shops!
I bought this as a replacement for my City Mini gt when I sold it to buy a fixed wheel jogger. I got the 2015 model that had been on display for $299. Best decision ever! I love it, it fits the same amount of groceries in the basket. The weather cover set is cheap in comparison to other stroller's accessories. It pushes well around the shops, not as easily as the City Mini but that's expected with the wheels. The suspension is surprisingly great, I took up a cobblestone road and my 11mo was barely moving at all. It folds so small it fits ...Read more
in the front and back foot wells of my car. If I want to use a travel system in the future I don't have to buy any adapters! We're going to the AFL on the weekend and we can take it and fold it and sit it at my feet while in the stands, what other prams can do that!

Easy to use stroller
I purchased this stroller online and I am very happy with it so far. The stroller has great storage space, easy to fold up and down, very light weight & my son loves it! I definitely recommend this pram!! I also love the bag that comes with it & the suspension is excellent.

Good stroller but could be better
Researched light travel strollers before I went travelling, and this one had the best reviews. I'm pretty pleased with it – easy to unfold, fairly easy to fold, easy to carry, easy to use, good storage basket, easy to manoeuvre, super light. (And I haven't used any other light strollers, so I don't have anything to compare it with, really.)
My negatives are:
– The cover and other accessories are easy to lose. (I lost a couple of extra straps on the first day of use.) Be good if there was a zip compartment to keep them in.
– The shade is u...Read more

Best lightweight stroller on the market
Note: this review is for the 2016 version 2 of this product. I love this stroller, it's extremely thoughtfully designed. At only 5.9kg it is super light and a dream to push my 16 month old son around in. It's very maneuverable and the suspension is surprisingly good for a light weight pram. It can carry a fair amount of shopping bag weight on the handle bar without the bags getting stuck in the wheels. The under seat storage area is actually a decent size considering the size and weight of the pram, but it is a bit difficult to get things in an...Read more
d out of. It folds up very small but has a long back when standing so my taller than average son will get some good use out of it. I also love the harness arrangement where you plug into the latch each strap one at a time, rather than having to put the straps together and then plug them in the latch like a puzzle - a pet hate with many other strollers. All in all this is a fantastic stroller for everyday use as well as travel. At $400 it's a lot more expensive than an umbrella stroller, but it's a lot more durable and practical and has a lot of great features.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Excellent a must have.
Brilliant love it! Have no issues with up and down steps so not sure what others are going on about. Great for my small car. Easy to push/fold. Good size Basket. Need bit more seat padding. Fits baby capsule. excellent for travelling and carry on. Love it when I fold it in public and ppl go " wow where did u get that from I want one"! Folds out to a good size pram. Didn't come with sun shade though so I bought the double pack sunshade and storm cover. Sunshade great to use when Bubs sleeping. Easy to carry and can pull around airport once folded in its cover. I'd recommend to all. I love it!

Mountain Buggy Nano Issues
We have this pram in the car as a backup for easy trips like the shopping centre and have probably used it only a handful of times. (in approx. 6 months)
Apart from the fact that you cannot get this pram up steps due to the position of the foot brake, it steers quite well and is easy to unfold.
However, after being stored in the back seat of the car, the frame of the canopy has buckled (due to heat?) and can no longer unfold properly.
This might not seem like a big issue - but as the canopy is only tiny it makes a massive difference to the...Read more

Money down the drain
Purchased in March for temporary use in London for buses and tubes. Rarely used as our other pram much easier to push. By July wheels sticking and noticed cracks in frame side where wheels, attached. Contacted mountain buggy confident it would be covered in such a new pram. Nope! Possibly fine for the mall but useless on city streets!

We liked this pram but the wheels are terrible, very wobbley and we have had 2 replacements now
The last new wheel failed on the first day at 99 bucks a pop!
The pram was the biggest pram on the market and our guy is very tall, it took weeks to get the new wheel last time, I don't know if I will be able to get him back in the pram again.

some things great-some terrible!
My first nano was highly anticipated, and then had some serious let downs firstly the wheels were very squeaky and wouldn't turn around easily. I took it back to the supplier in sydney and was told to grease the wheels with vasoline!! After only one use, this was a horrible thing to hear. Supposedly it is common for them not to be greased before sale.. Next came taking it to the park.. You cannot go down stairs with this stroller without accidentally locking the brakes on. And they boast about curve pop in all the ad's!! They don't mention that it only goes up stairs, not down! I love the IDEA of this stroller, but maybe they should have made a few test models first

Great lightweight stroller
I've owned this pram for almost nine months and it is perfect for everyday use. My only complaint is you can't get down stairs or kerbs without someone picking up the front. The foot brake is the problem here as it protrudes and gets caught on the way down if you know what I mean. I have a swift which I keep for neighborhood walks and the nano is in the car for shopping trips. Have used several times for domestic and international travel and has been a life saver as you can take on board which means child can be comfortable upto the boarding gate.

So far so good
We plan on taking this overseas with us later in the year, but so far it has served us well. It's much better than the cheapie we used to have because we can store it in the boot and still fit other things in there. The cheapie took up much more room. The push feel is miles ahead of the cheapie, turning it is as awesomely easy as our large pram is. Love all the features it has despite being a reasonably priced stroller.
On the negative side, there are two complaints I have:
1. The sunshade is not large enough or doesn't come down far enough...Read more

So, we took this to China and were pleased with its performance. It does easily fit in overhead locker on planes. It is easy to carry on your shoulder. We were able to go down a variety of different steps with ease. We have no complaints.

Again, the wheels are terrible!!!
I was excited to get the buggy initially as I wanted to use it for my upcoming travel. However I wished I've done more research as it was a pain throughout my holiday. 1st of all if you are thinking of bringing it inside the plane then you will probably need to check with your airline as different companies have different dimensions and this buggy did not fit ryanair's criteria for hand luggage. This was fine as a carry bag was provided and it gave some protection for buggy. The real issue was both front wheels kept locking every few meters and...Read more
it meant I couldn't turn the buggy. It really annoyed us throughout our trip as we had to constantly unlock both wheels individually! I have contacted the shop that sold this buggy and they said mountain buggy have sent a kit to fix it. I will update this review and if it looks out of place from the buggy then I will definitely return it! Compact, lightweight, nice materials front wheels!Similar opinion? If you want a small pram but better than a stroller this is it !!
This pram is great it is small and light and folding up and down is very easy . i use the baby capsule with this pram and I also like that the mountain buggy freerider can clip on the back for my toddler and pushing this pram with one hand is easy to do so if you have to hold the hand of your toddler its very handy Hehe also it fits anywhere even unfolded and being pushed... i have had no trouble with the wheels or anything like that .
I do find the shade/hood on this pram is very small so not a lot of cover !!
All up i think it is a great...Read more

Love my Nano!!
This is my go-to stroller for traveling, quick trips to the doctor and other short errands. Its not only an amazing travel stroller, but also a great lightweight stroller for the car. I love that it takes up very little space in my trunk and can be used for either my 2 year old or my newborn (with the carseat). Its quickly becoming my most used stroller!

Ideal for travel.
Perfect packable size for airplanes, train, and water taxis. Took it to Europe for a five week vacation and it stood up to every form of transportation and every size of hotel rooms. No complaints over cobblestone paths either. Couple of draw backs: doesn't handle stairs with only one person and basket on the bottom is a bit restricted.

Incredibly easy - light and sturdy
We have used this stroller on multiple occasions and it has been very easy to setup and maneuver. There isn't much storage space at all, but this is the perfect mobile/travel stroller option

nice and easy
it is good product, easy to fold, not hard to push. The only shortage might be the seat itself could be longer and have a leg rester.

Travel from plane,train,car with ease!
I adore my Nano. Folds up to cabin carry on size easily, and unfolds with one hand-perfect when you're travelling. Light yet durable, and my son is comfortable ready for any adventure! Wipes clean and even has a decent sized hood. We travel regularly and this has transformed our lives. Thanks Mountain Buggy Nano!

Hi!
I know there are answers to this question on the forum - however they were answered years ago. I was just wondering if anyone has had any issues with taking the nano as carry onto Qantas.

Hi Kat and thanks for your question. As all airlines have different policies, it is best to check with Qantas before flying. MB x
