I've had 3 separate serious problems with 2 different nano's. The first issue came about 2 weeks after purchasing when the folding mechanism broke. I took it back to the store and they replaced it with a brand new nano. Pretty much immediately I realised that there was another problem with this one..... The front wheel kept locking. It also had a terrible squeak in the back wheels. Again I took it back and they fixed it with the repair kit as this was a known issue. ntre!) the nano developed another serious fault.... The back wheels keep falling off! They just randomly fall out. We have been putting up with it for a while and just pushing them back in when it happens (now and again) but the problem has gotten so bad that it is now happening constantly (and happened when we were crossing the road yesterday!) so enough is enough. The store has spoken to mountain buggy this morning and apparently this fault has never happened before (hard to believe considering the first fault was not known either!) and they are going to give me a brand new nano. After 2 different nano's and 3 serious faults i can't be bothered with a 3rd nano so I will be getting a refund and buying a decent stroller! Avoid at all costs. I can't put this down to being unlucky, I just think they are a poor quality stroller. Love my Nano BUT
I love my Nano stroller, its small, lightweight and steers so nicely BUT then the wheel locking starts, first one wheel then the other .
I email MB and get a quick response with a video to show me how to fix the issue with the kit they will be sending out . Really really not impressed, this ''bad batch'' should be recalled, they know its a issue, its not safe and its incredibly frustrating . pretty much perfect, the 4 month old Nano needs a ''fix''. Only buy NZ made Mountain Buggy's or go a completely different brand in my opinion . Lightweight, small, easy to access basket . Wheel locking and very poor customer services, worthless warranty

I'm having the same issues, not impressed with the MB customer service at all. Said they would send the kit to fix however I need to take a refund up with the store. This bad batch is not good enough and should be recalled.
I've been told they cannot guarantee even am exchanged one won't have the same probkem!
I would push for a refund! Especially the fact that MB have been aware of this problem for several months yet ... Read more

I could not fault this - it is brilliant!
I purchased this stroller for the purpose of a small holiday where I would be getting on and off planes, buses and trams etc and I needed something sturdy and light and this stroller promised this. only a small batch of strollers made with the wheel fault and that the problem has been rectified now and that although unlikely, if I did have an issue they would send me a repair kit. Anyway, I have been on holiday and covered many, many kilometres, the pram has been folded/unfolded hundreds of times, climbed on and thrown around during transit and I have not experience ANY problems. This stroller is amazing, it is so lightweight and folds up so small. I could fit three of these nano's in the back of my Hyandai Getz easily. You can pick it up with one hand too and it has a shoulder strap so you can carry it like a bag and be completely hands free to carry baby in one hand a suitcase in other, it was super easy to get on and off transport in a hurry without looking silly. The frame is sturdy and the lovely black of it looks stylish compared to other strollers with lots of aluminium/metal frames. The fabric is nice too and easy to clean. My daughter climbed all over this pram and ate in it and it all still looks new. The recline is useful, my daughter slept in her nano a lot and seemed very comfortable. I was able to peep through the mesh backing and check on her too. The basket in the undercarriage came in useful, I had it loaded many times and it didn't drag at all. I also had a lot of heavy bags hanging on the handle bar and not once did the pram tip over. The pram steers well, it's a little heavier to steer than the air filled tyre prams but at least there were no flat tyres! It's a short and slim pram so easy to weave through crowds and ques and aisles in shops. I got a lot of compliments about how happy my child looked sitting in ' that lovely chair'.3 comments

I was very upset about this and was told no refund would be given - then was told several customers have returned with same issue and therefore no guarantee an exchange wouldn't be fault free. I am so happy I didn't accept a repair kit because that seems to not solve the issue. I went thru phone calls after phone calls and emails after emails and trips back and forth to finally get my refund. If a new model comes out I will be the first to buy if guaranteed fault free. After all that is every consumers right. Its a great stroller if not for this fault! So customers should be aware at time of purchase and should be discounted to reflect this!Similar opinion? The problem is not permanently corrected with the screws
I was fortunate enough to return my mountain buggy. One of the mums from mothers group was refused a refund and provided with the screws for "fixing the auto lock that all these strollers are having" which has been confirmed by three baby stores).
Two weeks later problem started all over. She took it back to baby store to ensure the screws were fitted correctly and they couldn't work it out either db said it was second return of a "fixed" screw. The mum is reluctant to even sell it on eBay as it is a true hazard!

aby kingdom were honest enough to tell me nothing's changed. I now have bought the Valco Snap Sport. Ticks all of my boxes. Stronger. Better. No problems (yet) but have had 2 months so looking good. It is what it is - expectations are met!
I took a risk and purchased this stroller knowing the wheel issue but i did extensive research on the wheel issue and found that mountainbuggy can actually send parts out to rectify this. Yes, its a hassle but it is a new release, so what do you expect? To change screws are also super easy and they send instructions and there is a youtube video on how to do it. But I was attracted to this stroller as it seemed to meet my needs.

ler was for my 2.5yo and we are planning to have another baby, so the capsule compatibility was a very attractive option, as well as the ability to travel with it (we have travelled many times o/s and to be able to take this onto the flight is very convenient). The stroller meets my immediate needs and will meet my future needs. Tick tick! I am also onto my 10th stroller/pram and tbh am quite over big and bulky to which the nano is not. When i went to the store, i was immediately sold when the sales assistant advised that pretty much most capsules can be used as the straps are universal for capsules. I also did ask about any returns in store due to faults and they said they hadnt received any. So, a few weeks into it and with limited use, i did realise that the wheels would auto lock into the locking mode when going over bumps.1 comment

Great Light-Weight Stroller
My favourite thing about this stroller is how small it packs up. It's one of the only prams that will fit (comfortably) in the boot of my VW Polo. It's also quite easy to fold and it's very light-weight, essential when 39 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. I also love that you can fit and easily attach a capsule to it (if we decide to get one). Nice to have options! I've only used the stroller 2 times now (with my toddler) so I can't say much towards longevity or reliability, but it's off to a good start:-).
Folds up very small, Light-Weight, Cute, Not too Expensive, Can attach Capsule
Canopy not very big, not sure if it'll protect baby from sun

recently i have the same problems and i brought it back to ny baby warehouse and the say mountain buggy said any problem like that they will take it back and the store change new pram for me right away
