Terrible communication & changes without notification
Really disappointed. We live on the Central Coast and we're paying off large vouchers. Were not informed that they no longer deliver heavy items to our area. Called to discuss and they happily refunded but no apology or explination. Been using mylayby for a long time and will no longer be doing business with them.

Stop being charged $3.50 for nothing!!
I used to love the service and ethics of mylayby but 2 weeks ago I was charged a $3.50 on a layby payment of $2.50 saying it was an invalid transaction. When I asked mylayby they said it was banks fault but bank went through my account and could find no error so then mylayby wanted a copy of my bank statement to prove I had $2.50 in it at the time. I had hundreds in account and wasnt very happy about giving them a copy but I did under protest. Eventually after not only speaking to manager but to manager of chrisco as well I got my $3.50 back only to have it happen again 2 weeks later and now they are refusing to pay it back they keep saying its my bank and are refusing me when I ask to speak with manager. I have never been treated so badly by anyone or any company in my life. I phoned my bank again because mylayby said my bank charges them $3.50 but my bank St george said it does not charge them anything and Kathy was wonderful. She got 3 different people to go through my account to make sure it wasnt from mine or banks end and bent over backwards to try and clarify issue. Mylayby should be ashamed of its self. How many $3.50 get charged to people?? Apparently they think they can take your money and not justify why. Iam now going to take this further to stop getting charged like this, to stop others being charged like this and to see if we the consumers can get a little more respect.Similar opinion? Outstanding company Highly recommend
Very good customer service i stuffe up my address and my laybuy stuff got sent to the wrong address a nice gentleman rang me up and informed me that the stuff was returned and that i made a mistake with my address so pretty m uch got it sorted with little problems and proably the best customer service experance i do recommend this company and i will laybuy next chrismas and side note they do flexible payments and if you want it to pay off the rest in a full you can.

Don't bother!
I placed an order in April and I have been paying it off and now it's August I got an email saying that they won't be able to supply the product. I think it's a bit hit and miss wether they'll be able to supply your order a year later (or evidently, even a few months later). It worked out well for me though because I have found the product on eBay for half the price so they actually saved me $600 in the end. I won't bother ordering from them again.

Awesome Brand new iPhone 7+ on the doll
Love this site, I have brought a number of things such as Chanel perfume, pots and pans and an iPhone 7 plus which I never would have been able to afford if it wasn't for the flexible payment plans, and when I had the money I would just ring up and pay more off. Phone came exactly what I ordered and is beautiful. Only one downfall I ever had was one grumpy lady on the desk, couldn't really be bothered to do her job and he tone of voice was abit meh but you get that. Love this site. If you want something but don't have the money this is the best way.

Disgusting Service
We bought the Haier Freezer delivered on the 2nd opened box which wasn't damaged, to find left side of freezer or buckled and unable to stand straight. Contacted My Layby who said to contact fisher and Paykel, who palmed us back to courier, who palmed us back to My Layby we have sent photos of packaging and the damage to freezer with no response.

Good when it's good, terrible when it's bad
I have shopped several times without issue, but when something does go wrong the communication is terrible. I ordered a tent which was faulty - that's fine, it happens. Emailed them and was told I'd receive a replacement, great! I waited and waited, it turns out it was sent to the neighbours house of my billing address. That's right, not my mailing address, not my old mailing address, not my billing address, but the neighbour of my billing address. When I did finally get it in my hands it turned out to be faulty! ity control? Who knows. My next issue is that when they try to contact you it's on a private number and they don't leave a voicemail! How am I supposed to return that? I requested a refund for my troubles and they agreed in exchange for photos of both the faulty tents, now I had ALREADY done this, but figured sure it wouldn't hurt to send again. Now after sending it a second time I received an email saying it had been forwarded to the right people and to just wait, no worries. 10 days later I still had not received my refund. I sent an email yesterday to follow up, this morning I received an email saying they are waiting for me to send the photos and that they have been trying to contact me. That is INCORRECT. Since sending the photos a 2nd time I HAVE RECEIVED NO CALLS OR EMAILS FROM THEM ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT ME. Not even from a private number. Not acceptable. Fantastic
I have paid off a couple of lay-bys through them and they are very obliging, very happy with the service, I would recommend them to anyone as it is very handy when you cannot afford to by outright.

Terrible
Ordered a ma tress, received no information on delivery aside from the approx. Guide online.
No phone calls to arrange delivery, no emails.
I was told via email to keep waiting, was then told it hadn't left the warehouse, may be picked up Monday and delivered Friday - 5 weeks after final payment....that's if it arrives next Friday at all.

I can't believe these dumb idiots don't know if they've sent my iPhone which was paid off on the 12th and its now the 22nd, and it's a Christmas present, stupid fools better refund my money if no iPhone by tomorrow MORONS!!!

Didn't get what I paid for
NOT HAPPY. I ordered a Christmas lay-by for my kids and some of the presents still haven't arrived and they won't even get back to me and tell me what's going on. Scammers!
Update: still haven't got everything but one toy was unavailable so they gave me $10 credit for something I paid $49.95 for.. still no word about the $200 worth of Dreamworld passes with no tracking number that have apparently vanished into thin air

4 changes to delivery time over 4 week period - still don't have it :(
I paid off my fridge on 9th November. Since then I've had 4 changes to the delivery date. Today I had to follow up again - and you guessed it - another 7 days before it arrives. I was told last time it had been picked up from the supplier - and today I was told it was picked up from the supplier yesterday! I asked exactly where it was as I was told the same story last time - [name removed] had no idea. There was quite a delay in delivering my washing machine too - so probably no more dealings from me - it's too disappointing and no-one seems to know where the products actually are in the delivery process.
I also didn't know they were owned by Chrisco until all the paperwork with my washing machine had their name on it.

In all honestly..
Im absolutely in love with this service & even speaking on the phone to people I have never had trouble. The thing I love the most is in able to change over my order so if I no longer wish to buy a phone I can buy a tv using the same money i have previously paid for the phone with. Such an easy and well thought out idea for those going through financial hardship and can prepare 52 weeks in advanced to Christmas! Again amazing work guys and I will be continuing to only using you guys and also referring work colleges to you guys

Easy, affordable in the comfort of my home
Have purchased numerous amounts of items off mylayby, fast and efficient service. Affordable payment plans. Purchased a toddler bed, upon receiving the bed it clearly wasn't what I purchased but the staff at mylayby quickly retificed the problem and sent me out another toddler bed better than the one I originally had purchased. Have been a loyal customer for 4 years now. I love how you can layby in the comfort of home and forget about it, suits my family. Looking forward to next year as have already layby for Christmas 2017, this will be my biggest shop yet! Thanks so much love three service and highly recommend

Finally a layby site that is value for money. This is perfect for us, we can now afford a few wants and work it into our budget, its also great that they will apply the sale price if the item you already put on layby comes up during the layby at a lower price. The prices are competitive not like a lot of layby sites where you end up paying loads more than the RRP and the products are exactly as advertised, brand new, good quality and brands, free postage and quick delivery. I have found the customer service helpful, friendly and efficient. Well done mylayby.com keep it up and I just hope you get bigger so you can bring in even more of a range.

Perfect!
This is the best thing I've used. I paid it off in a time that best suit me. I got exactly what I wanted. It arrived 6 days after I finished paying for it. It was fast, and in excellent condition, it costs a little more but don't mind paying the bit extra. 10/10 would use again

I waited up to ten days just to get a small refund. I called MyLayby to follow up and basically they could not be bothered. I will never shop with them again.
Have been waiting since the 26/09. They claim it should be in today or tomorrow but with the way they have been responding over the phone I find that hard to believe. Sound useless like they hate their job!
Have cancelled 2 of 3 items on one order Monday and have just received my refund today. Now Im just waiting for them to refund my big one so I can buy product outright at shops for the earlier model

I wouldnt buy a thing from mylayby or chrisco anymore. Try Hamper King or Afterpay instead.
I have just paid of a gift voucher jumped online to order another one and theyve added extra money on top dramatically.$60 ontop of a $500 one.which is rediculous. i will be looking at the hamper places again
