Rich and smooth

Perfect coffee for busy mums and chill times. Rich and smooth. It’s such a favourite perfect with it without milk.

Ripoff

Weak taste per teaspoon making it a ripoff compared to the old packaging in the 190g tin.

Perfect start to the day.

My go to coffee to get me going for the day. Great taste and strength is just right.

Love the taste and that it’s cost effective!

I love the flavour of the Nescafé gold intense - I normally use 2 teaspoons with each cofffee with 3/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup water. I love that it’s much cheaper than buying a coffee every day without sacrificing on taste.

Gold in name only.

I`m a huge fan of Nescafe Expresso so I know that the Nescafe can make excellent instant coffee BUT I found Nescafe Gold simply awful - its certainly doesn`t taste like premium coffee to me in fact I would go so far as to say that virtually any budget priced instant coffee is better than this How it justifies a premium price mystifies me.

Why did you delete Gold Dark?

published

Gold Dark was the only instant coffee we would drink and you have replaced it with Intense - boy was that a huge mistake. Intense is horrible! It doesn't disolve properly and leaves a bitter residue in my cup, the flavour is bitter. Why on earth did you delete Gold Dark? Until you bring it back - you have lost us as customers.

Gold Intense

I love Nestle original gold coffee. I am so distressed because I can,t buy it in Christchurch, New Zealand now. If it didn,t have “original “ on the label, it just wasn,t any good. It is the only coffee I,ve used that you could actually smell a delicious coffee aroma as soon as you poured the boiling water in. Can anyone help me?

Hi Paddy I wrote to Nestle because I was So unhappy with the New Taste and Aroma.
This is their reply, they have changed the process!!!

"We’re really disappointed to hear that you’re not happy with the recent changes we've made to NESCAFÉ Gold Blend.

This product is now crafted with micro ground coffee which contributes to the richer aroma and more intense flavour. This micro ground coffee is non-soluble, the same as an espresso based barista made coffee."

Of thanks for that Nigel. I was so desperate for this coffee that if I saw the name Nestle from whichever country I just sent them an email. One of them replied that there wasn,t any Nestle Original gold because they had withdrawn from the area cos of low sales. Another one, a NZ one said that the coffee will be in our ChCh shops at the end of May x would send me a Pkt. I hope it,s not too disappointing.

Forget NesCafe and Moccona coffee and try Nature's Cuppa Organic Freeze dried coffee. Its the only real instant coffee on the shelves these days that uses 100% Arabica beans.
