I recently engaged this company for the inspection of our newly built house, they did all the inspections from the slab stage till final completion, I must say their service was very professional, inspectors were highly experienced and knowledgeable (ours was VBA certified as well) and reports were very detailed and comprehensive, I suggest if you are in need of inspectors then go nowhere else. Andrew was professional, knowledgable and approachable to deal with. His reports came in < 2 working days after inspections. The report content compared well with AS/VIC standards. The detailing around the inspection report was excellent and the references given for each defect was also really good. I would highly recommend their service. Bit costly but its worth.

I engaged them for stage inspections on a new house build (and I am glad I did). Bill was my assigned inspector and he was fantastic - provided detailed reports with pictures and was happy to explain further any exceptions on the reports. Kept the builder honest and on his toes. Builders tend to not provide sufficient notice to schedule inspections however the ladies were able to make it work - they were great to deal with. Overall, highly recommend these guys!

We used New Home Inspections to carry out five inspections during the building of our new house. Kevin and the team were both knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The reports were detailed and allowed us to have many important aspects of our house fixed/built to the required industry standard. We used them to inspect our newly build home 5 times and their service was professional, realistic and very collaborative in they way they interacted with the builder. I was referred by a friend to request for Joe to do the inspection. Joe’s report was very detailed and a lot of the items he found I would have never known. Worth every penny for some piece of mind.

We engaged NHI for private inspections at each stage of our knockdown rebuild and found the reports invaluable in picking up many issues and making them easy to raise and resolve with our builder. I have no doubt the home we have in the end is of far better quality thanks to them even though we were also very happy overall with our builder. The admin team were always highly responsive and helpful, and our inspector was always punctual both onsite and in sending through the detailed reports.

They picked up a number of issues which our builder had not, and as their report provided clear compliance standards and quoted the specific clauses, it made it obvious which was a "nice to fix" vs a "must fix". After seeing how hopeless the compulsory surveyers were, we regretted not engaging NHI earlier! So we engaged NHI from the start with the second house and have never regretted it!
