Our quality inspector, Bill, not only provided detailed reports but also verbally explained each defect to us and walked us through our property highighting the defects. This made it easy for us to assert ourselves to the Builder to ensure rectifications.

We employed New Home Inspections as we wanted, as their tag line suggests to ‘make sure our biggest investment was a quality investment’. We were sadly disappointed. We used New Home Inspections to complete an inspection prior to handover of our new home and cannot be happier with the service provided. The inspection was very thorough and the report well detailed. The report gave us the confidence to address defects with our builder which has resulted in a majority of them being rectified. We would encourage those building to get inspections completed at each stage rather than just waiting until the end like we did as you’ll be able to get issues rectified along the way.

Used New Home Inspections for every major stage of our build.

I recently engaged this company for the inspection of our newly built house, they did all the inspections from the slab stage till final completion, I must say their service was very professional, inspectors were highly experienced and knowledgeable (ours was VBA certified as well) and reports were very detailed and comprehensive, I suggest if you are in need of inspectors then go nowhere else. I sort services from NHI team for last 3 stages of the construction of my new home after being dissatisfied with the previous inspector. Andrew was professional, knowledgable and approachable to deal with. His reports came in < 2 working days after inspections. The report content compared well with AS/VIC standards. His report helped me to negotiate a positive outcome with the builder at each stage. However Andrew missed that the builder had not connected an agi pipe to a silt pit that is now causing a flood in my property.

I had got quotes from over 4 independent inspectors/companies. The first few inspections were done by an inspector/ a company which produced a 2 page inspection report with everything mostly in order. Not that you look for issues, but when you are spending this kind of money you want to invest in someone who WILL LOOK FOR ISSUES so that you can GET THEM FIXED before moving into one of your most expensive asset.

The detailing around the inspection report was excellent and the references given for each defect was also really good. I would highly recommend their service. Bit costly but its worth.

We engaged with New Home Inspections (NHI) as part of building our new home. We were lucky to know about this services via our friend as we had no experience with building at all. I engaged them for stage inspections on a new house build (and I am glad I did). Bill was my assigned inspector and he was fantastic - provided detailed reports with pictures and was happy to explain further any exceptions on the reports. Kept the builder honest and on his toes. Builders tend to not provide sufficient notice to schedule inspections however the ladies were able to make it work - they were great to deal with. Overall, highly recommend these guys!

We used New Home Inspections to carry out five inspections during the building of our new house. Kevin and the team were both knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The reports were detailed and allowed us to have many important aspects of our house fixed/built to the required industry standard. NHI is a definite choice at anytime. Hayden was very thorough in his findings and thorough. Best of all the report was ready by the following morning with detailed recommendations for our buidler to follow up. We used them to inspect our newly build home 5 times and their service was professional, realistic and very collaborative in they way they interacted with the builder. The turn around time for the reports is very impressive (all the next day) which helps to make sure that the builder can resolve issues very quickly.
