Nexgard is poison!
I gave my dog Nexus yesterday. She got sick within a couple of hours. She stooled a lot, became listless, stumbled and couldn’t get back up when she fell over. She would not eat or drink. Had to give her fluids with a dropper but it wasn’t enough. Took her to the Vet this morning because she looked like she was in shock. She was indeed in shock. I know this was related to Nexgard because she was running the day before, ate all her breakfast but became severely sick within a few hours of the dose. So sad. My heart is broken.

I’ve tried next guard twice and my dog has severe allergic reactions to it it’s made almost all of his hair fall out patches all over sores itching the medicine is straight poison I tried it a few years ago and it did the same thing but I wasn’t for sure if it was the medicine or not but I did stop giving it to him well that recently prescribed it to him and I gave him my first dose and he started having some sort of itchiness going on but after the second month it just got worse and I realize that it was the medicine that was doing that he’s got almost like he’s anorexic it’s pretty sad this company should not be in business

My dog was given a dose of Nexgard and a day later she was listless, wasnt eating or moving. Took her to the vet, she WAS very ill. Long story short, she ended up with autoimmune disease, and YES, the vet said that there was no other factor but that she ingested the chewable Nexgard. IT took months to get my dog well, we almost lost her, she was so sick. Weeks and months of vet care and medications, love and attention at home. DO NOT, not use Nexgard or any other similar product.

NexGaurd sent my dog into renal failure and cause neurological damage where he was shaking like a leaf for weeks! He was disoriented for even longer. Thankfully he recovered, but I will NEVER again give this to any animal! I don’t know how it’s even still a legal product!

I report this to the vet but they didn’t find anything because he needed a blood test. My poor dog was warbling from side to side and fell. He pee all over the floor and looked at me so scared. I will never give him this again after reading the reviews.

My vet gave me a sample of Nexguard to give to my 6 month old puppy. The same day I gave him the medication, he began to show signs of neurological issues and would not stand when I took him to potty outdoors. I rushed him to the vet and he began vomiting. The vet recommended to administer fluids and I took him to an overnight clinic to continue the fluids. This saved my dog's life. At the time I didn't put everything together, I kept trying to figure out if my dog had eaten something he shouldn't have. I think he was on the edge of having a se...

I gave my dog this treatment and two days later, she cannot walk. The vets are puzzled. MRI shows no abnormality in the spine or legs. I took her to three vets. After x rays, CT scans and MRI, they could find nothing wrong with her. She cannot walk and is in a lot of pain and no pain killers are working. Also her bark has changed. We are hoping like hell, the toxins will eventually get out of her body. I have done some research on this product the FDA in the US are warning people not to give it to their pets. There is also a class action again...

I heard that this medication can cause seizures, although I never thought it would happen. Last night a friends Labrador had a seizure in front of me and apparently has recurring seizures every few months because of this medication! It is terrible, and should be banned in Australia.

Months after nexgard my dog gets cancer. So sad that people trust their vets to provide the best care and all they can offer is toxic chemo, toxic flea meds, toxic heart meds, toxic dog foods with high levels of lead and arsenic.
