Quick Fix for SHORT Term only! Side Effects :(

published

This is a good product, it kills cravings immediately. 2 pumps and your good. Under the tongue is best. I did have hiccups twice when I sprayed after eating.

Here is the downside. It can become its own addiction. Also this is graphic but I got lumps on my pelvic region and hemorrhoids :( It was my first experience with both of these things. They went away after I stopped using.
Temporary use only!

Using for 3 years now stops you smoking but the spray is very addictive can't stop using it how do I get off it? The 4mg gum does help as an alternative but always go back to the spray my doc says use a small spray bottle and use a diluted amount maybe this might wean me off it hope it doesn't cause any long term medical conditions

good, but is it safe ?

I have been using quick mist for 2 years, I am addicted to it . I use 1 canister every 4 days. I sometimes feel sick, pale, like im overdoseing on the stuff, mainly in the mornings.i have had ulcers in mouth, hickups which don't bother me . its the unknown that does. I ran out once, went 2 hours, all I could think of was more juice!!

Love it, so far best on the market for me

published

From day 1 of trying this product it has been brilliant in stopping cravings for me. i have tried others and they did not work. i havent completely stopped smoking but i have cut right back on the amount i used to have. by the 7th week of this product i should have stopped completely. i have also noticed im not getting the withdrawals that i got from trying by myself, no headache, no mood swings, its great. it doesnt taste great but then neither do smokes. i do recommend giving this a go and staying with it, well worth it.

Pure Rubbish

published

This product is crap. It tastes crap, the delivery system is like spraying a high pressure nozzle into your mouth. Go with patches, or anything besides this dross. I will be requiring a refund for this trash.
I'm guessing any positive reviews for this product come from employees of the company!

It works!

published

I have smoked for 8 years and not very heavily (5 cigarettes a day roughly) and thought it would be easy to quit with all the help products available - not the case! I tried gum, patches, inhalers, etc. with no success. I always still had the harsh craving for a cigarette until I tried this product. It's harsh and stings when you spray it but it gave me instant gratification. It took every urge for a cigarette away after 30 seconds or less. I have been smoke free for 2 weeks now which is the longest I've gone with no cigarettes at all when trying to quit before. Highly recommend trying this.

This works but you still need will power.

I have used this to stop smoking and so far i have not had another cigarette. It has been more than 9 months. My next step is to get off the Nicorette mist spray. Helps cut out the urge for a cigarette. Works well in curbing the urge after a meal. Only side effect is hiccups for about a minute after I sprayed on to my tongue. Highly recommend. Chemist Warehouse has the best prices.

Anything is better than cigarettes !!

published

Turned 70 a week ago and vowed to stop smoking after 52 years on the gaspers. Finished my last smoke 2 minutes before turning 70. Been on Quikmist since and feel really great now. Feel 30 years younger. Quikmist has a small quantity of hydrochloric acid in it so that's why it can sting a little. Always spray under tongue and try to hold it there and not to swallow for as long as possible. If you swallow too quickly you will get hiccups. Now I am hoping not to become addicted to the mist so that is my next challenge to wean myself off it. My doctor once told me that anything is better than smoking. Try and buy the mist when its on a special price otherwise it is rather costly. Good luck all.!!!

Terrible! This is the work for my attempt to use it

published

I hate it! Burns my throat, stomach. After 3 attempts I just put it in my garbage.
Why the hell did they use so much menthol on it?

Makes me hick up like crazy

published

My wife and I have a baby on the way and figured it was time to quit. The spray is the quickest way to get my fix, gives my crazy hick ups tho.

Help addicted

Take 3 sprays a week still want to smoke nothing else seems to work cheaper to smoke again!!!!!!! Want to quit

It worked for me.

published

The first time I sprayed it burnt my mouth and gave me hippcups. It's now been almost 12 months off the smokes, sure I've had a few along the way but after 20 years of smoking this product worked for me. It took my cravings away quickly and after a while I got use to the taste. I've previously tried patches, pills, cold turkey, and gum. But the spray is by far the best with dealing with cravings. Highly recommend, I never thought I would quit smoking.

The best quitting aid on the market

published

Like most quitters I'd tried them all. After changing jobs and no where to smoke I had to do something. I gave quickmist a go 12 months back, the best thing I ever did. Occasional hiccips but instant craving relief. No more ciggies for me.

The Only product that works for me

published

I've been a smoker for 28 years and tried most aids but never got far with any of them as none took away my huge cravings or settled my mood swings...until the spray. First time I used it I nealy fainted and vomited but then I learnt how to use it well. I spray under my tongue which creates saliva...I then swish that around my mouth for 20 seconds then spit it all out. I don't swallow at all so dont get throat burns. The nicotine gets absorbed through my cheeks...I don't think the product should or needs to be swallowed. I'm on day 5 without a smoke and have no mood swings, no cravings and no worries; amazing!!

It actually works

published

I've smoked for about 8 years quite heavily and would get highly irritated (even upset) when trying to quit cold turkey or using patches. Using this on an empty stomach is a bad idea, spraying under my tongue works but I hold my breath for 30 seconds before swallowing, it really makes the cravings go away almost instantly! I have heaps of trouble using the locking mechanism on the spray :/ but overall I think is product is fantastic!! And would definitely recommend to anyone trying to quit

Questions & Answers

Worried

Worriedasked

I am addicted to Nicorette mist spray since quitting in 2013, i can not go any were with out it, going away in i have to carry spares...originally it lasted 4 odd days but lately i can not get past 3 so i wonder if the company making it for J+J are putting the full amount in the spay as its sealed away for viewing, the expensive kit it not child proof as i found 2.. 3 year old working it out, drop the price as i note the biggest chemist shop selling it from say $49 to $56 (3 pack) and less often have now due to the Corona virus and people sitting at home using more of it have now put it up to $69.. I feel the demand for it will make twice the profit and i thought it was illegal to profiter or take advantage of the public during a pandemic.. Others now home 24/7 and bored must feel the same, cut the profit and help, why has no other manufacturer tried to market the spray and what other spray etc What flavour is close to freshmint to help cut down on the nicorette, my Dentist can not understand why my teeth are needing fillings from more regular decay...
Shocked by contracting lung cancer now (6 months) i need something for my anxiety not pills but find the cost of mist at $69 is just 2 much to afford. They advertise vitamins at 50% off but never the profit maker, its advertised on TV to stop smoking but has no discount of price..Ebay are advertising 2x2 packs del for $70 and that's 4 sprays not 3 ?????? of course Woolies, Coles and small chemists are selling at the same price all year round and ridiculous as they possible sell 2-10 packs a month..

Yes, in my experience it does register. However it’s not enough to be over the limit.
