The injector pump has been replaced in my 2003 nissan navara and now it is very sluggish and has no power. The motor has to at around 2500 revs to get to move off the mark, when going up on the highway at 90 kms per hour as this a fast as it will travel and you encounter a hill the speed drops to around 50kms. Be fore the Injector pump was replaced the vehicle went like a rocket. Has anyone out there encountered this problem ??

I had a diesel rx 2.5 2013 80000 clk. I pulled a 750 kg camp trailer self braking and hardly noticed it was there. Drove mostly at 2000 rpm with plenty of torque in 5th
With more mass you will be working it hard, so use good diesel with injector cleaner for those conditions.

Bought new 2009, single cab, cc.
Threw out the bench seat and put good buckets in. Now have 255,000 on it. Regular servicing. Used as a "dick around ute" and occasional long range camper. Latest trip 10500km. No problem except for fuel consumption. Windscreen sticker said 10.5 and this has very rarely been attained, normally 11.3/100kms with up to 14.4 on very hot day. Usually drive at 2250rpm/85kph. Oh yes, speedo is out by 10%. Had some dramas with hesitation, but requested original Nissan fuel filters and fixed that. Fuel consumption is only problem.
